Nic Nemeth Retains TNA World Title In 60-Minute Iron Man Match At TNA Emergence

Nic Nemeth retained his TNA World Title at TNA Emergence, defeating Josh Alexander in a 60-minute Iron Man Match.

Nemeth won the bout three falls to two, scoring the final fall in the dying seconds of the bout.

Cedric Alexander Re-Signed With WWE

Nemeth got the first fall early in the match, rolling through an ankle lock and rolling up Alexander. Nemeth would make it 2-0 just over halfway through the bout.

With 20 minutes remaining, Alexander struck Nemeth with a foreign object. He would follow up with a C4 spike for his first fall and another C4 spike for an immediate second fall.

As the clock wound down, both men pulled out all the stops to go up one and possibly secure the win. In the end, Nemeth hit a C4 spike on Alexander to get the third and final fall.

This was Nemeth's third successful defense of the TNA World Title. He and Alexander previously fought to 30-minute draw on the August 15th episode of TNA iMPACT!, setting up the 60-minute Iron Man match.
