It begins....again.
On the latest epsiode of Ten Pounds of Gold it was announced that Nick Aldis will defend his NWA World Heavyweight Title against Tim Storm at the NWA TV tapings on Sept. 30. If Aldis wins, Storm will never challenge for the Ten Pounds of Gold ever again.
Aldis and Storm first met for the NWA World Heavyweight Title on November 12, 2017 at a Championship Wrestling From Hollywood television taping. The match, which was won by Storm, helped put the National Wrestling Alliance back on the map again.
The two met again at CZW Cage Of Death 19 on December 9, 2017, but this time Aldis got the better of Storm, winning the NWA World Heavyweight Title in the process. Aldis has held the NWA World Heavyweight Championship for all but 50 days since defeating Storm in 2017.
