Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce are the respective general managers of WWE SmackDown and WWE Raw. On top of their success in running their brands, both men have accomplished in-ring careers, most notably as former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champions.
On social media, Adam Pearce was asked if he would ever face Nick Aldis.
Pearce replied that he believes there are two groups of fans who would love to see that match, naming the WWE fans and NWA fans. He said he would never angle for a match, but if you're asking him to be honest, would he ever come back? "The short answer is..." and then the video ends.
Aldis did have a reply to Pearce's "answer."
