Nick Aldis: You Will See An Announcement Regarding New NWA Content Within The Next Month Or Two

The National Wrestling Alliance has been on hiatus since the pandemic started in March 2020, but Nick Aldis sounds hopeful for a return this year.

While the NWA partnered with United Wrestling Network for UWN Primetime Live at the end of 2020, there hasn't been an original episode of NWA Powerrr since March 3. The company has aired old footage and some original content over the past ten months, but it is unknown when new content will emerge.

Speaking on The Angle podcast, NWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis provided the latest update on where things stand with the company.

"I tend to try to avoid vague promises because I've seen too many times people go down that road and ultimately, it never meets expectations. Instead of saying, 'I think you'll see NWA Powerrr return at this point.' I think you will see an announcement as to the future and return of NWA content within the next month or two. Obviously, I'm more deeply involved than most, but I'm not an owner. I'm confident that by the spring, you'll know when and where you can see the NWA again. I'm very ready and so are the NWA wrestlers. We're ready to come back and deliver," said Aldis.

NWA pushed out four episodes of NWA Shockwave at the end of 2020, but the company hasn't posted a new video on their YouTube page since December 22.

Fightful will continue to update fans on the future of the NWA as more is known.
