Nick Khan Says WWE's Goal Is To Host A Flagship Show From India In 2026 Or 2027

Nick Khan speaks about WWE possibly heading to India for a flagship event.

Over the years, WWE have hosted several events in India, but have yet to host a Premium Live Event or TV event from the country, despite WWE being the second most watched sporting programming behind cricket in the country. However, that may change in the next couple of years.

WWE President Nick Khan recently sat down with The Hindustan Times for a new interview, where the idea of WWE hosting a flagship show in India brought up. Khan remarked that WWE have a goal of bringing a said flagship show to the country in the near future.

"That's the goal, and we're pencilling out 2026 and 2027 now. In one of our first meetings with Netflix after the deal was signed. Without asking, Netflix handed us a list of their priority countries. At the top of that list was India. And knowing that the race would come into play on April 1 in India, if it's important to Netflix, assume it's important to us. India has always been important to us. So we're pencilling it out now, and let's wait and see."
