Nikki Bella Reveals Cyst On Her Brain And Herniated Disc Will Keep Her Retired; Says Cyst Is Benign

Nikki Bella won't be returning to the ring.

While many believed that Nikki Bella retired following her loss to Ronda Rousey at WWE Evolution, that wasn't always the case. After the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles were announced, Nikki revealed that she was hoping to get back in the ring with her sister Brie and challenge for the titles.

However, upon evaluation, doctors told her that she would have to stay on the sidelines.

"I really wanted to go back and fight for the Women's Tag Team Titles," revealed Nikki to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. "I've always had my neck issues, and after neck surgery, it hasn't been okay. I felt like I needed to get a checkup before we went back for the tag titles. It came back that I herniated the disc above where I had surgery, I had all this inflammation around the metal [rod], and I have a cyst on my brain. They were like, 'You're done. No more.'"

Nikki would reveal in an interview with TMZ that the cyst in her brain is benign.

Despite being unable to return of the ring, Nikki and her sister have remained busy with their own wine brand, their own podcast, and the Total Bellas reality show.
