NJPW made some major additions to the Sept. 30 card in Long Beach, California.
The company announced that Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kazuchika Okada, Tomohiro Ishii, Tetsuya Naito, EVIL, SANADA, Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi will be part of the event.
Matches for those competitors will be announced in the coming weeks.
Only three matches have been announced thus far. Juice Robinson will defend his IWGP United States Championship against Cody. Cody pinned Juice on the final night of the G1 Climax 28 tournament in a tag team bout.
The Young Bucks defend their IWGP Tag Team Titles against Guerillas of Destiny members Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa. Tonga, Loa, and Taiji Ishimori captured the NEVER Openweight Trios Titles from the Bucks and Marty Scurll at the G1 Climax Finals.
Finally, Marty Scurll takes on Will Ospreay in a semifinals match to crown a new IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion. The winner will face the winner of KUSHIDA and BUSHI in the finals. Former champion Hiromu Takahashi gave up the title following a neck injury.
