At WWE NXT Battleground, Noam Dar successfully retained the NXT Heritage Cup on American soil for the first time ever and, in the process, seems to have formed a new faction around himself.
Dar was seen talking to Oro Mensah about being his corner man for the match against Dragon Lee, and even though he initially wasn't sold on the idea, Mensah did end up making his way down to help Noam Dar.
In the end, Dar would win with two falls to one as he got help from Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend. Jackson would distract the referee, and Legend would smash an ice bucket in the back of Lee, allowing Dar to hit a spinning back elbow for the victory.
