Nathan Frazer has won the gold.
In recent weeks, Frazer has been feuding with Heritage Cup Champion Noam Dar. Frazer aligned with Dragon Lee, who unsuccessfully challenged for the trophy at NXT Battleground.
On the June 13 episode of WWE NXT, Frazer was set to challenge Dar for the Heritage Cup. When it was time for the match, Dar came out on crutches and said he was unable to compete due to an injury, as he claimed that Frazer attacked him in the parking lot. He then stated that Dar would take his place.
Despite plenty of interference from Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson, Yulisa Leon and Valentina Feroz took them out and evened the odds. Frazer then pinned Mensah to win the match and the trophy.

With the win, Frazer won the Heritage Cup for the first time and ended Dar's reign at 292 days. Dar previously won the July 7, 2022, episode of NXT UK by defeating Mark Coffey. His win over Coffey kicked off Dar's second reign with the Heritage Cup.
