Many women will be in action in hopes of finding championship glory at NWA 74.
In a tweet on August 3, NWA announced that King will compete in The Burke Invitational during the first night of the event on August 27. The winner of the bout will earn a shot at the NWA World Women's Championship the following night. Kamille currently holds the title, and she is scheduled to defend it against Taya Valkyrie at NWA 74 Night One.
King unsuccessfully challenged Kamille for the gold in a hard-fought match at NWA Alwayz Ready.

"The Perfect Knockout" Samantha Starr was announced as the first entrant in The Burke Invitational on August 2.
Then, the National Wrestling Alliance announced that Tootie Lynn would also be featured in the Burke Invitational on the first night of NWA 74.
