As the NWA continues to evolve, new rules and formats continue to be revealed. Now, with a new Television Champion, there is a new rule that can develop an even greater championship opportunity for the TV Champion.
On Twitter, Dave Lagana announced the Lucky 7 Rule. This means that if the TV champion successfully defends his championship seven times in a row, he will then earn a chance to challenge for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. In the NWA, the champion can retain his title by simply outlasting the time limit of 6 minutes and 5 seconds.
