NXT TakeOver: Chicago II Fight Size Update: Velveteen Dream Sports Hulk Hogan Themed Gear, The Undisputed Era Reacts To Their Win, Triple H, More

Here's a Fight Size Update for tonight's NXT TakeOver: Chicago II event.

- The Undisputed Era retained their NXT Tag Team Championships in a hard-fought bout against the "one"-"two" combo of Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch. Burch and Lorcan were not successful and in their post-match interview they were clearly heartbroken about being defeated in their TakeOver debuts but nonetheless they gave it all they had.

- The flamboyant Velveteen Dream had an attention-grabbing entrance tonight as he made his way down to the ring in Hulk Hogan inspired gear and his pants paid homage to Ricochet's "Prince Puma" character from Lucha Underground.

- "The Twisted Sister Of SAnitY" Nikki Cross was unsuccessful in besting Shayna Baszler and taking the NXT Women's Championship out of her clutches. In what was an unusual moment that closed the match, Shayna caught Nikki in a "sleeper-hold" and while the psychotic Cross was trapped in the maneuver she realized that there was no getting out of the submission so Nikki gave in, smiled, and let Shayna choke her out to retain the NXT Women's Championship.

- Following the NXT Women's Title match former PWG World Champion Keith Lee appeared in the crowd and the big man from Texas will soon be making his stamp in NXT.

- Lars Sullivan walked out to the Chicago crowd with intentions of putting an end to the embryotic NXT Championship reign of Aleister Black. Black was able to overcome Sullivan and although Lars stated that he would not meet the same fate as Aleister's previous opponents, he was not able to escape from the dark-side as "The Dutch Destroyer" put the big man down by way of a "Black Mass".

- Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa took the fight to one another once again in a Chicago Street Fight. The two men pulled out all the stops in hopes of putting an end to one another. The end of the contest saw Gargano execute the very move onto Ciampa that left Gargano laying last year at NXT TakeOver: Chicago I. Ciampa was about to be stretchered out of the arena but Gargano wanted to inflict more punishment on the man who has made his life a living hell for the past six months.

Johnny made Tommaso tap out in the middle of the ring but because there was no referee witnessing Tommaso give in the victory did not count. Gargano went to the outside to fend off security and when he returned to the ring he was caught in the clutches of Tommaso Ciampa who DDT'd Gargano on the exposed wood in the ring to even the score of he and Johnny Gargano's feud.

- In the post TakeOver after-show with NXT founder and senior producer Triple H, he gave his individual thoughts on each of the bouts that took place tonight and stated that he will be backstage at 'Money In The Bank' tomorrow night, and following that he will be on the last flight out to London for the two-day WWE United Kingdom Championship tournament tapings.
