The first AEW Rankings of December 2019 have been released.
As 2019 comes to a close, several wrestlers maintain their top billing atop the rankings, despite one of them suffering a shocking upset on this past week's episode of Dynamite. Hikaru Shida, the No. 1 contender to the AEW Women's Championship, lost to Kris Statlander, but despite the loss, Shida remains No. 1 in the rankings. Meanwhile, Statlander makes her debut in the top five, entering at No. 5.
