Tony Khan has shown a willingness to spend money to increase his production, purchasing rights to songs for wrestlers to use as their entrance music.
He's acquired "Wild Thing" for Jon Moxley, "Tarzan Boy" for Jungle Boy, and "Where Is My Mind?" for Orange Cassidy.
Speaking to Stephanie Chase, Orange Cassidy gave his reaction to finding out Khan purchased the Pixies track.
"I always joked around about having Jefferson Starship's 'Jane' as my entrance music because it's one of the best entrance songs of all time. We were talking about it one night and [Tony] was like, 'Well, if we can't get that, what would be another thing?' I believe Chuck was with us too and we were throwing songs around [Where is My Mind?] is a sweet song and totally not professional wrestling, which is perfect. One day, I got a phone call and [Tony] said, 'Come meet me, I have to talk to you about something. He just told me and did it without me knowing. Now I get to saunter down to the ring to it. It's cool," he said.
Alongside Chuck Taylor and Kris Statlander, Cassidy is currently involved in a feud with The Butcher, The Blade, & The Bunny. The fourth member of their team, Trent, recently underwent neck fusion surgery. You can find his comments on his recovery by clicking here.
