The discourse surrounding Sylvester Stallone's iconic Rocky series continues.
In a now long-deleted Instagram post, CM Punk admitted that he had not seen Rocky 3 while recalling Jon Moxley's pitch to him for their AEW World Title program heading into All Out. This has since lead to others, such as Joey Janela, trolling Punk for never having seen the 1982 film which co-starred Mr. T and featured Hulk Hogan as Thunderlips.
During Alpha Academy's "soft opening" on Twitch, Otis and Chad Gable were asked about the Rocky series, confirming that they have seen every installment. Otis then shared his opinion that, "Rocky 5 is the best one." After helping to ease Cold War tensions in Rocky 4, Balboa finds himself struggling in Rocky 5, dealing with financial issues after his accountant loses all of his money. This leads to him mentoring a young up-and-comer (Tommy Morrison) before stepping back in the ring one last time (until the next time).
Chad Gable would then share a personal tidbit about himself, saying, "I've never seen a Star Wars film." Gable joked that this would probably land him in hot water but notes that it's just not his cup of tea.
