Pac Not Coming To AEW Double Or Nothing Because Of Creative Differences, Faces Hangman Page Overseas

Pac and Hangman Page tease fans one week ahead of their scheduled match.

At today's Wrestle Gate Pro event in Nottingham, England, Pac was scheduled to face Jody Fleisch and Robbie X in a triple threat bout. However, Robbie X had wrestled earlier in the night and Fleisch was unable to make the event. Pac issued an open, which was answered by his AEW Double or Nothing opponent, Hangman Page, in full gear.

The match went roughly 10 minutes and ended in a disqualification when Pac kicked the referee below the belt before Page hit him with the Buckshot Lariat.

After the match, Pac attacked Page with a chair and announced that he would not be at AEW Double or Nothing on May 25. According to Wrestling Observer, the reason Pac won't be there is because of creative differences surrounding the match, which has led to Pac being pulled from the event. Observer says that the match from this week will be released online, and Page will be re-booked against a new opponent for Double or Nothing.

After Pac left the ring, Hangman Page stuck around to drink beer and take photos with fans.

As of now, Page vs. Pac is still scheduled for Double or Nothing next week.
