Paige wants Kairi and Asuka to be featured more prominently.
The duo consisting of former NXT Women's Champions Kairi Sane and Asuka have been dubbed "The Kabuki Warriors" on WWE television and they are managed by Paige. Over the weekend, Asuka and Kairi Sane defeated The IIconics in a non-title match to earn a shot at The IIconics' WWE Women's Tag Team Titles. Asuka and Kairi have not been featured on WWE TV on a consistent basis since Kairi Sane made her main roster debut alongside Asuka. Paige expressed that it does frustrate her because she knows how good of a team that Kairi and Asuka are and further elaborated on that during an interview with Sun Sport.
“If we don’t get used I get really frustrated because we’re a good tag team and we need to be utilized. Sometimes the writers have so much on their plate with everyone else’s storylines, they put things on the back-burner. I have to remind them, ‘Ok, but there is a Women’s Tag Team Title… I’m like, ‘What the hell dudes? Let’s make something happen.’ It frustrates me but once you actually get to speak with Vince and Hunter about your problems and frustrations, they’re always the first to say, ‘Let’s change this.’ If you go up to writers it’s like talking to a brick wall sometimes, whereas if you go to Vince and Hunter they’re like, ‘If you have a problem we can change that for you.’" Paige said.
Paige also shared her thoughts about her former 'Absolution'-mates, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. She said that she is proud of both Mandy and Sonya and although she does not know where they are going creatively, she feels that they deserve all the success that could be coming their way.
“I’m so proud of them. I truly adore those girls. I had so much fun with them. Each week they work more and they’re so hungry. What more could you hope for in a wrestler? I don’t know creatively where they’re going. I just think they deserve it." She said.
