Panic At The Disco: Wrestlers Take Aim At Former WCW Star

Cody Rhodes has fired back at the criticism from a former WCW Television Champion.

In the late nineties, when Disco Inferno was wrestling on WCW and dancing with Alex Wright, professional wrestling looked different and the business was conducted mostly on network television between WCW and WWE. In a recent tweet, Disco Inferno expressed his concern that today's wrestlers (especially independent wrestlers) are taking too many risks with the aims of earning "five star matches."

Grudge Match Added To Monday's WWE Raw

The wrestler featured in the tweet was Cody Rhodes who recently received a cut on his eye during a match. He had some harsh words for Disco Inferno.

His opponent for Supercard of Honor XII, Kenny Omega also chimed in to say he had been considering working for Disco Inferno in the near future.

Disco Inferno is semi-retired from professional wrestling with only wrestling a handful of times the last few years. Rhodes and Omega will meet in the main event of Supercard of Honor XII for which Fightful Wrestling will have live coverage and a recapping podcast
