Paul Ellering and AOP (Akam & Rezar) were released by WWE on February 7th.
Ellering was paired with AOP in 2016 and helped lead them to the NXT Tag Team Championships. Though AOP parted ways with Ellering in 2018, they reunited in 2024 as part of The Final Testament with Karrion Kross.
Ellering is steadfast in his belief of AOP.

Ellering managed LOD aka The Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal) in the 90s.
He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame with LOD in 2011.
