Persephone And Zeuxis To Face Tessa Blanchard And Lluvia For CMLL Women's Tag Titles At 8/6 CMLL Event

New CMLL Women's World Tag Team Champions will be crowned.

As previously announced, the New CMLL Women's World Tag Team Championships were vacated after one-half of the reigning champions, Stephanie Vaquer left NJPW and CMLL on July 10th.

CMLL is holding a tournament to crown the new champions. The competition was featured at the CMLL Martes de Arena Mexico event on July 30, as several tournament matches were held at the show.

In the end, Persephone and Zeuxis advanced to the finals by beating Princesa Sugehit and La Catalina in the semi-finals. Meanwhile, Tessa Blanchard and Lluvia also advanced to the finals by beating Skadi and Kira. The finals will be held at the Martes de Arena Mexico event on August 6th.

Zeuxis had been one-half of the reigning champions when the titles were vacated. She and Vaquer won the titles at the CMLL 90th Anniversary show on September 16th, 2023. They became the inaugural champions by beating La Jarochita and Lluvia.
