"Phillip Five Skulls" has retired. Enter "Speedball."
Pro Wrestling Guerrilla announced that Phillip Five Skulls, a wrestler whom by all accounts never existed has "retired. As a result, "Speedball" Mike Bailey is the sixteenth and final entrant in the tournament which takes place on January 29 and 30.
Unfortunately, Phillip Five Skulls has decided to retire from professional wrestling and will no longer be competing in the 2022 Battle of Los Angeles.

"Speedball" Mike Bailey makes his long-awaited PWG return as he enters the 2022 Battle of Los Angeles!

There are no active wrestlers actually named Phillip Five Skulls, as it is a reference to a tweet from a fan back in August.
Literally everytime PWG has a show someone is like "Phillip Five Skulls from Dayton is really making a name and PWG should book him." "why no women at PWG?" "How do I download the show that happened 12 hours ago"
