Prince Nana would like to work with Queen Aminata but believes that even without him, she can reach the level of stardom currently achieved by Mercedes Mone and Toni Storm in AEW.
Prince Nana was recently a guest on Punch-Out with Josh Nason. Toward the end of the discussion, Nason mentions Queen Aminata as somebody he wants to see Nana work with on TV. Nana compared his relationship with Aminata to his one with Swerve Strickland before they started working together on-camera. He praised her and said that even without his help, she would be a major star.
Still, if he can handle business with Swerve Strickland and not have too much on his plate, he would love to bring Queen Aminata into the fold with him.
"It’s the same aura of when I was about to start working with Swerve [Strickland]. We are friends, and she’s great in the ring and this and that, but I know if they ever do take that step, that’s it. She's on Mercedes Mone status and Toni Storm status in the wrestling business. She’ll even do it without me. She don’t need me," he said. "But I know that if I could just add that to my collection — right now, it’s hard with Swerve. There’s a lot of business that needs to be taken care of. I don’t like to have too many things going on, but Queen Aminata, I’ll bring her in like that, my friend, and she’ll be a huge, huge, huge star. Even bigger than she is right now. I love Queen Aminata."
Prince Nana used to manage the Embassy's Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona but has since switched to solely focusing on his work with Swerve Strickland.
Queen Aminata is currently sidelined with a hand injury. Learn more about that here.
