QT Marshall was going to work for TNA Wrestling.

In November 2023, QT Marshall announced that he would be resigning from AEW at the end of the year. In February 2024, Marshall returned to the company, but only as Vice President of Show and Creative Coordination. As a part of his new deal, Marshall is allowed to wrestle for any other promotion outside of WWE.

While speaking to Gabby LaSpisa of the Gabby AF podcast for a new interview, Marshall revealed that before originally leaving AEW in 2023, he had a deal in place to work for TNA Wrestling.

“I can wrestle for anyone else, obviously besides WWE. Even for a moment there, I was gonna work for TNA and still work for Tony. I was like part, before I even left a year ago, Scott D’Amore and I, we had made an agreement and Tony was gonna help pay for my flights, it was great. Scott didn’t reach back out and I was like, ‘Hey, what’s going on?’. Obviously, he knew what was going to happen so he didn’t. But now i'm working for him for Maple Leaf Wrestling in a couple of weeks, so I’m excited about that.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Marshall talked about helping Jey Uso get yeet back. Learn more about those comments here.
