Queen Sharmell: Match With Jenna Morasca Shouldn't Have Happened

Queen Sharmell looks back on one of the worst matches ever.

At TNA Victory Road 2009, Queen Sharmell battled reality TV star Jenna Morasca in a match considered by many fans to be one of the worst matches ever. Sharmell was best known as a manager while Morasca came from reality television with limited training.

Speaking to Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Sharmell reflected on the match.

“Well, it was a match that in my opinion just really shouldn’t have happened because neither of us, especially Jenna, she had never had a match before. [She trained] for like a couple of days, not even a week, and that’s not on her. But you can’t train for a couple of days and be a wrestler. It just doesn’t happen like that. So just, you know, kind of was unfortunate, because I was by no means a ring general and then she had only been in the ring a couple of times. I’m not sure what it was all about but we did our best," she said.

Morasca did not wrestle again.

Elsewhere during the interview, Sharmell commented on her 2005 storyline with her husband Booker T and Kurt Angle. You can find her full comments by clicking here.
