Raquel Rodriguez had nothing but good things to say about her time in the ring with former WWE Women's Champion (and UFC superstar) Ronda Rousey.
Rodriguez battled Rousey a few different times, once on the Dec. 30, 2022 edition of SmackDown and once on the June 26, 2023 edition of Raw. Both times, Rodriguez said, were a delight.
She opened up about her matches with Rousey during a recent appearance on INSIGHT With Chris Van Vliet.
“When I first got called up to main roster to work with Ronda, I was like I felt the pressure for sure, and when I talked to people about being able to work with her and how amazing she is. It’s always mind blowing to me still that I got that opportunity to be in the ring with her and work with her and know her and put on what was a really good match. It was a really good mix up that we had," Rodriguez said.
Rodriguez would end up tapping out to Ronda Rousey's armbar during the SmackDown Women's Title Match.
Rodriguez spoke on a number of different subjects with Chris Van Vliet, including her partnership with Liv Morgan, a skin condition she's currently battling, and more.
Rodriguez and Liv Morgan are a part of the group Judgement Day, alongside Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, and Carlito.
