Count Renee Paquette among those who received a trash bag on their way out of WWE.
Paquette left WWE following SummerSlam 2020, though she continued to make appearances on special episodes of WWE Backstage.
Though she left on her own accord and wasn't released by the company, she was still sent a trash bag of her belongings.
"I also had my stuff sent to me in a trash bag. I didn't think much of it. It was a similar experience to Chelsea Green. She was on her podcast saying she got stuff that wasn't even hers, it was like Natalya's boots. That's what happened with mine. I ended up texting a bunch of girls in the locker room. I got a bunch of makeup, someone's full makeup bag. No one claimed it," Paquette said on her Oral Sessions podcast. "I can picture the person packing it up and not really thinking twice about it because that's obviously how it's been done for so long and no thought put behind it, not thinking of what the subliminal message might be to the person on the other end. The hurt feelings."
Chelsea Green revealed on her podcast that she was sent a trash bag that contained Natalya's gear. You can find her full comments by clicking here.
Though wrestlers being sent trash bags isn't a new practice in WWE, it took on a life of its own after Mickie James tweeted about it following her WWE release. WWE would make office changes after Mickie's tweet, including releasing longtime employee Mark Carano. You can find Mickie's full story by clicking here.
