Renee is doing it big.
Renee Young is now a full-time member of the RAW commentary team and she has been well-received by those who tune into the WWE product and by her fellow colleagues. Renee is the first woman in WWE to be a full-time commentator on Monday Night RAW and she is very excited to be in the position that she's in. It also helps that she has the support of her broadcast partners Michael Cole and Corey Graves. Renee has stated in a number of interviews that she has been given tons of advice from both Graves and Cole and they've helped her tremendously whether she was doing a one-off appearance on commentary or to the point now where she'll be with them for the foreseeable future.
Renee is inspiring many young women listening to her on Monday night's and one of the young ladies that she has inspired is none other than the daughter of Corey Graves. While participating on telephone interview with Postmedia, Renee Young shared that she received a message from the wife of Corey Graves and she told Renee that their daughter Lennon was thrilled to hear Renee on the call.
(Quotes by way of the 'Windsor Star')
"One of the coolest messages I actually got after doing Monday Night RAW the first time was from Corey Graves’ wife. She texted me that her and her daughter Lennon, who’s a big WWE fan, were watching and just what it meant for her, for Lennon, to be able to see and hear a woman calling Monday Night RAW." Renee shared.
On top of commentating the action on RAW, Renee is also excited about the possibility of calling the action during the 2019 SummerSlam PPV as the entire SummerSlam week will emanate from her home-country of Canada where her friends and family will be able to see her live.
“That gives me butterflies to even imagine,” she said. “To be able to go out there and call Monday Night RAW with my friends my family there, my brain can’t even compute what that would be like that. That’s just such a monumental moment for me.”
Renee Young called her first-ever WWE PPV last night at 'Hell In A Cell'. To catch up on the action that took place during the show, check out Fightful's coverage article of the event.
