Batista is weighing his options.
According to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, Dave Bautista (Batista) is still talking with WWE about appearing at WrestleMania 35. Fans may recall WWE teasing a potential WrestleMania match between Batista and Triple H at SmackDown 1000 this past October. Unfortunately, Triple H suffered a torn pectoral muscle during his Crown Jewel bout in November, putting a wrench in potential WrestleMania plans. Triple has been cleared for training and remains in an on-screen role.
Batista is reportedly "50/50 on returning based on how talks have gone." PWInsider reports that Batista met with WWE officials last Thursday at WWE HQ.
One potential pitfall in a WWE return is the reported interest in Batista from All Elite Wrestling. Satin reports Batista is listening to what both companies have to offer.
Batista has made no secret of his desire to return to the ring. He last wrestled at WWE Payback 2014, teaming with Triple H and Randy Orton to battle The Shield. He was reportedly in talks to return at WrestleMania 34 to team with Ronda Rousey, but was ignored by WWE leading up to the event.
Batista was recently announced as being part of the cast in the upcoming "Dune" film.
