WWE Confirms That Braun Strowman Will Undergo Elbow Surgery

Braun Strowman's elbow is legitimately injured.

According to John Pollock of POST Wrestling, Braun Strowman is set to undergo elbow surgery next week. Pollock reports that it's unknown how long Strowman will be out of action, but believes WWE must be optimistic that he'll be able to work his WWE TLC bout against Baron Corbin, otherwise they would not have set up the match on Raw.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports that Strowman has bone spurs in his elbow, which is the reason for the surgery. Meltzer states that it's "touch and go" on Strowman's status for TLC.

On Raw, WWE shot an angle where Baron Corbin, with help from Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre, injured Strowman by smashing his arm between the steel steps.

Later in the night, Michael Cole informed the audience that Strowman suffered a "shattered elbow" as a result of the attack.

On Tuesday night, WWE confirmed that Strowman will undergo elbow surgery. It's still unknown whether or not Strowman will be able to compete at WWE TLC.

WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs is set for Dec. 16 at the SAP Center in San Jose, California.
