PWInsider reports that Lesnar has been pulled from the game. The report also states, "we should expect to see Lesnar downplayed (if not outright removed as he was in the Supercard game) as much as possible going forward by 2K and potentially other licensees."

On January 25, a lawsuit was filed by Janel Grant against Vince McMahon, WWE and former executive John Laurinaitis. The lawsuit accuses McMahon of sex trafficking, emotional abuse, and sexual assault.

Lesnar was never named in the lawsuit, but there is a reference to “a world-famous athlete and former UFC Heavyweight Champion with whom WWE was actively trying to sign to a new contract." The lawsuit alleges that Vince McMahon used Ms. Grant in a sexual manner to keep the athlete under contract with WWE.

Lesnar was reportedly scheduled to return to WWE television at the WWE Royal Rumble.
