Chris Hero (formerly Kassius Ohno in WWE), was back with ROH at Best in the World.
John Pollock of POST Wrestling reported on Monday that Hero was backstage at ROH Best in the World on Sunday where it was "believed" that he was working as a producer. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer confirmed that Hero was backstage and producing for the show.
Hero's role with ROH moving forward is currently unknown.
Pollock reached out to ROH COO Joe Koff following the event regarding Hero's status and was told, "Chris was there and is always home at Ring of Honor."
Hero is a former two-time ROH Tag Team Champion alongside Cesaro and has had multiple stints with the company. He last competed in an ROH ring in 2014 when he faced AJ Styles. Hero hasn't wrestled since March 2020 when he competed for NXT UK.
He was released by WWE in April 2020 and did not wrestle during the pandemic. You can find his thoughts on his release by clicking here.
