A new report says both nights WrestleMania 37 will only be three hours long and are currently penciled to end by 10 PM eastern time.
This year, WrestleMania will once again be a two-night affair, beginning on April 10 and ending on April 11. WWE announced the location and date for the next three Wrestlemanias on Saturday, January 16, 2021.
A new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider does the current plan in place calls for both nights of WrestleMania 37 to end at 10 PM after a three-hour event that will begin at 7 PM. This is similar to the structure of last year's WrestleMania, which took place from an empty WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida due to the emerging global pandemic.
Typically, WrestleMania is a four-hour event with a two-hour pre-show. At WrestleMania in 2019, the most recent WrestleMania to take place in front of an audience, the show ran so long that the main event match between Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Ronda Rousey got underway past midnight.
In addition, it is currently reported that WWE has not locked in any other events for Wrestlemania weekend outside of the two nights of WrestleMania that will emanate from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. Currently, the major goal is to safely have fans attend a WWE show once again beginning with this year's WrestleMania.
Speaking on that subject, Stephanie McMahon told TMZ that they will be learning from the NFL and other plans that have worked since the pandemic has emerged in order to ensure a safe environment for all.
"Working with the local organizing committee, all of the health officials, health and safety is first and foremost, of course," Stephanie says.
"For our fans, for our performers, for the employees, for the staff working the building, there's a lot of different logistics that need to determined, but hopefully, it'll all work out, and this will be the first WWE event where we actually bring the WWE Universe back together in person, and I cannot wait."
Plans are always subject to change and Fightful will continue to monitor the story and report any and all updates.
