Bad news for Ember Moon.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports that Ember Moon is currently out with a leg injury. The report indicates that she suffered "an ankle or an Achilles injury," but not further details are provided. Meltzer goes on to report the injury will keep her out a "decent length of time," though the timetable would change depending on the type of injury.
Moon last wrestled on the Sept. 23 episode of WWE Raw, losing to Lacey Evans.
WWE released the list of draft eligible superstars earlier on Thursday and Moon's name was noticeably absent from the list.
Moon has had tough luck with injuries this year as she suffered an elbow injury in the 2019 Women's Royal Rumble, which kept her out of action until WrestleMania 35. Moon challenged Bayley for the SmackDown Women's Championship at SummerSlam 2019, but was unsuccessful in her attempt to win her first title on the main roster. Despite being used regularly on television, Moon has not won a televised match since defeating Charlotte Flair on July 23.
