An update on IMPACT Wrestling and their deal with Pop TV.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports that IMPACT Wrestling will remain on Pop TV through early 2019. IMPACT's contract with Pop does expire on Dec. 31 and the company was reportedly looking for a new television partner. Pop TV has been Aro Lucha commercials with the teaser "Coming in 2019" but there has been no official announcement from Pop or Aro Lucha on an agreement between the two parties.
Furthermore, Petey Williams announced IMPACT's upcoming taping schedule on a recent episode of his Wrestling Perspective podcast. Williams said the company will hold a TV taping the night after Homecoming in Nashville. Later in January, they will go back to Mexico City before going to Las Vegas in February and Canada in March.
This past week, IMPACT was in Vegas for three nights, taping television through the end of the year. As of now, they have no more dates announced until the Jan. 6 Homecoming pay-per-view in Nashville, Tenneesee.
