Killer Kross is unhappy with how things are going in IMPACT Wrestling.
According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, Killer Kross has requested his release from IMPACT Wrestling. Johnson reports that Kross is unhappy over his current pay and creative direction. Kross signed a multi-year deal with IMPACT last year and recently requested a pay raise. His current deal reportedly pays him by the date and Kross was looking for more guaranteed money.
Kross reportedly asked for a new six-figure deal. IMPACT countered with a three-year deal but the money was below six-figures.
After rejecting IMPACT's counteroffer, Kross reportedly asked for his release. He reportedly won't be granted his release from the company.
Along with the financial disagreement between the two sides, Kross is reportedly unhappy with his creative direction in the company. No further details were provided. Kross is a focal point on IMPACT Wrestling television and is currently involved in a storyline with Eddie Edwards.
Johnson reports that relations between two sides remain professional.
Fightful will continue to provide details on the story as more is known.
