Report: Mauro Ranallo To Call 12/4 NXT Broadcast

Mauro Ranallo is reportedly heading back to work this week.

According to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, Mauro Ranallo has informed WWE officials that he'll be present for this Wednesday's episode of NXT. Ranallo last called the action at NXT TakeOver: WarGames III. He was scheduled to call matches at WWE Survivor Series, but WWE announced he "blew out his voice" at TakeOver and couldn't do the show. He also missed the Nov. 27 episode of NXT.

Ranallo's NXT TakeOver: WarGames III commentary was criticized by fellow announcer Corey Graves, who believed Ranallo wasn't letting Nigel McGuinness and Beth Phoenix get a word in on the broadcast. He also criticized Ranallo for using too many Chicago rap references during the event. Following Graves' tweet, Ranallo deleted his social media accounts and has yet to return. Mauro's issues with mental health are highlighted in the Showtime documentary "Bipolar Rock N Roller."

Graves apologized for his tweets on the latest episode of After The Bell, hinting that he was trying to start an angle as the two men were reportedly scheduled to call matches together at WWE Survivor Series.

Fightful will have live coverage of NXT beginning at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
