A wild night.
The Illinois -based wrestling promotion 'All American Wrestling' hosted a show this past Friday. Highlights from the event include Brody King ending ACH's 200-plus day reign as AAW Heavyweight Champion. PWInsider is reporting that Brody King competed with a concussion and wrestled ACH for nearly 23 minutes. That was not the only major news coming out of the event as current Lucha Underground Trios Champion Sami Callihan got into a scuffle with the security of the 'Logan Square Auditorium' which is where the AAW show this past Friday was held.
PWInsider notes that Callihan went one-on-one with Jimmy Jacobs on the show and the two took their fight to the crowd and ended up brawling on a particular portion of the venue that is only used for concerts. Callihan began to stack chairs on top of Jimmy Jacobs which garnered a response from the building's management whom were in attendance. Management got on to the loud speaker and told Callihan to stop breaking the chairs.
After the match was over, the owners of the building demanded that Sami Callihan be removed from the venue. Callihan reportedly did not know whether if this was a work or not so he decided to shove the security guards. One of the guards told Sami that he had a gun on him and that if Sami did not calm down he would be shot. This sequence of events took place during the middle of the show and the show resumed shortly after and AAW capped off the night with Brody King becoming the new AAW Heavyweight Champion.
