Report: Samoa Joe To Be Moved To Raw

The United States Champion looks to be headed to Raw.

With Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor officially on SmackDown, Raw is currently without a secondary title on the brand. That won't be the case for long according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, who reports that Samoa Joe will be moved to the red brand.

Fightful Select reported earlier this week that Samoa Joe was sick "to the point of barely functioning" ahead of Raw on Monday Night, which kept him from appearing on the show.

Joe last appeared on television on the Apr. 9 episode of SmackDown when he interrupted R-Truth and Carmella. After choking out R-Truth, Braun Strowman hit the ring and engaged in a brawl with Joe, likely kicking off a feud between the two. Should Joe be moved to Raw, both he and Strowman would be on the same brand.

WWE has yet to officially announce Joe as being moved to Raw.
