Wade Barrett is coming back to WWE.
Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet reports Wade Barrett will be on the NXT commentary team on Wednesday. The report goes on to say that Barrett's deal is just a one-off and he has not signed a full-time contract with the company.
WWE has since confirmed the report.

Barrett won the original season of NXT in 2010 when the show was closer to a reality competition than a third wrestling brand. He left WWE in 2016 and went on to pursue a career in Hollywood. Barrett has starred in films such as 'I Am Vengeance' and 'I Am Vengeance: Retaliation.'
Recently, Barrett, who began using his real name Stu Bennett following his WWE run, joined the National Wrestling Alliance on commentary following Jim Cornette leaving the company at the end of 2019.
Mauro Ranallo was absent from NXT TakeOver XXX and was replaced by Vic Joseph. Corey Graves served as the other analyst alongside Beth Phoenix on Saturday's event.
Fightful will provide live coverage of NXT on Wednesday beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
