West Yorkshire Police are reportedly “carrying out initial enquiries” regarding the recent allegations of abuse aimed at members of the British wrestling world.
The news was first reported by BBC reporter Jonathan Savage.
No wrestlers were mentioned as being under an investigation. Accusations have been levied at dozens of wrestlers in the British wrestling community including those under contract with WWE NXT UK and AEW.

Some companies have already taken action with PROGRESS cutting ties with or suspending serval wrestlers including David Starr and Jordan Devlin. WWE released a statement regarding Devlin, saying they are currently looking into the matter.
