The reported reason why Joe versus Mysterio ended so quickly.
Rey Mysterio became a Grand Slam Champion in WWE at Money In The Bank when he defeated Samoa Joe to capture the United States Championship. The match went approximately two minutes and according to PWInsider, the reason for that derives from WWE deciding to cut the match short due to blood. There was a point during the match when Rey Mysterio either kicked Joe in the face or executed a senton that opened up the former United States Champion.

There was more blood shed during tonight's pay-per-view when Lars Sullivan made his way down to the ring to lay waste to Lucha House Party (Kalisto, Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado).
