In what is a feel-good story heading into WrestleMania 33, a Hall of Famer is set for the show.
Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that Jim Ross will be appearing at WrestleMania 33 in the broadcast booth. Ross hasn't called a match for WWE since 2013, and has been working for NJPW and AXS TV since last year.
This comes over a week after the untimely passing of Jim's wife, Jan. According to Satin, the deal with WWE was agreed upon weeks ago.
In addition, PWS reports that Ross will likely be lending his personality to WWE Network programs in the future.
WrestleMania takes place Sunday from Orlando, Florida.
