Konosuke Takeshita: I Was Happy When Other Wrestlers Told Me I Deserved AEW International Title Win

- Highlights are shown of the Bobby Lashley/Lana from last week on Raw.

- WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman make their way to the ring, Heyman does his usual introductions for himself and Lesnar. Heyman says Lesnar wants to kick off the decade by making some history, Heyman says Lesnar is wondering who will challenge him for the WWE Title at WWE Royal Rumble ‘20. Heyman says that Lesnar feels there is no one worthy enough to step into the ring with him, Heyman says that Lesnar is entering the Royal Rumble Match and will enter first. Heyman says Lesnar will conquer the Royal Rumble Match.

- Rey Mysterio is shown saying something in Spanish backstage before being approached by Sarah Schreiber, Mysterio says he will become champion again and he knows that he doesn’t have a lot of time left in his career.

Andrade (c) w/Zelina Vega vs. Rey Mysterio

The match begins with Andrade charging at Mysterio and swinging at him, Mysterio recovers and knocks Andrade out of the ring. Mysterio then hits Andrade with a sliding head scissors takedown on the arena floor, Mysterio gets Andrade in the ring to get a near fall on a pin attempt. Andrade fights back and Mysterio gets him out of the ring, Andrade drags Mysterio out of the ring with him and Mysterio sends him head first into the ring steps. Mysterio gets Andrade back in the ring and Andrade nails Mysterio in midair with a drop kick as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Andrade knocking Mysterio off the ropes. Mysterio rolls through a sunset flip to kick Andrade in the face, Mysterio gets up and he attacks Andrade with some strikes followed by a hurricarana. Mysterio then hits Andrade with an enziguri followed by a seated senton, Mysterio follows up by nailing Andrade with a tornado DDT for a near fall.

Mysterio goes up the ropes and Andrade hangs him upside down, Andrade misses a double stomp attempt and he crashes to the arena floor. Mysterio goes for a sliding sunset flip and Andrade rolls through to land a double knee strike, Andrade gets Mysterio back in the ring before landing a slingshot swanton bomb for a near fall. Andrade follows that up by nailing Mysterio with a series of suplexes, Mysterio counters a suplex with a small package before sending Andrade into the ropes. Andrade avoids a 619 to hit Mysterio with a spinning elbow strike for a near fall, Mysterio recovers and he nails Andrade with a destroyer for a three count. The referee immediately restarts the match after Vega shows that Andrade’s foot was on the rope and we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Andrade falling out of the ring after missing a charge in the corner. Mysterio then sends Andrade into the barricade after landing a hurricarana, Mysterio gets Andrade back in the ring to land a code red for a near fall.

Mysterio gets Andrade to the ring apron and he follows him out there, Mysterio and Andrade exchange some strikes until Mysterio sunset bombs him into the ring post. Mysterio gets Andrade in the ring before landing a springboard leg drop for a near fall, Andrade catches a leaping Mysterio and he lands a wheelbarrow slam for a near fall. Andrade corners Mysterio and he attacks him with a bunch of strikes, Andrade misses a double knee strike and Mysterio sends him into the ropes before landing a 619. Mysterio goes to the top rope and Andrade exits the ring, Andrade then catches a leaping Mysterio and he tosses him into Vega. Andrade grabs a distracted Mysterio and he throws him into the ring steps, Andrade goes for a hammerlock DDT and the ref breaks it up due to the injuries suffered by Mysterio. Mysterio rolls out of the ring to join WWE officials in checking on the injured Vega, Mysterio gets in the ring and Andrade nails him with a hammerlock DDT for a three count.

Winner: Andrade w/Zelina Vega, still the WWE United States Champion

After the match, Andrade steals the mask of Rey Mysterio and he gives it to Zelina Vega.

- Highlights are shown of Samoa Joe joining Kevin Owens in the battle against Seth Rollins and AOP.

- Charly Caruso interviews Kevin Owens & Samoa Joe, Owens says Seth Rollins is right about calling them individualists. Owens says that circumstances brought them together and they need to watch each others backs, Joe says he recognizes when backup is needed. Joe challenges Rollins and AOP to meet him, Owens and a third person tonight.

- Charly Caruso bumps into Seth Rollins & AOP, Rollins says he faces challenges everyday of his life. Rollins says the challenge he is most concerned about now is taking Raw to the next level, Rollins says nobody stands by Kevin Owens or Samoa Joe. Rollins says the AOP will take care of whoever stands up to them.

- The Street Profits get the microphone before the next match to say they are changing the conversation and they will win the tag team titles tonight.

Raw Tag Team Championships
The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar) (c) vs. The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) vs. The OC (Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows)

The match begins with Erik attacking Anderson before getting put in a headlock, Erik drops Anderson before landing a slam a few moments later. Ivar tags in and he nails Anderson with knee strikes alongside Erik for a near fall, Erik tags back in and he nails Anderson with shoulder thrusts in the corner. Ivar tags in and Dawkins tags himself in a few moments later. Dawkins quickly gets Anderson in a headlock after jaw jacking Ivar, Anderson gets free and Dawkins nails him with a drop kick. Ford comes in and he nails Anderson with a drop kick of his own, Ivar tags in and Ford gets him in a headlock. Ivar gets free before going back and forth with Ford, The OC hit the ring to attack Ivar and Ford. Gallows tags in and he corners Ford before landing a bunch of strikes, Anderson tags in and he nails Ford with some European uppercuts.

Anderson keeps Ford cornered while attacking him with a bunch of strikes, Gallows tags back in and he nails Ford with an overhead slam for a near fall. Gallows applies a chin lock to Ford after landing some elbow strikes, Anderson tags in and The OC nails Ford with an elevated neck breaker for a near fall. Ford fights back and he drops Anderson after landing an enziguri, Gallows tags in and Ford tags Erik in a short time later. Erik nails Gallows with an exploder suplex before landing the same move on Dawkins, Anderson hits the ring and he eats a knee strike. Ivar tags in and Erik slams him onto a downed Dawkins, Erik tags back in and he slams Ivar onto a cornered Gallows. Ford tags in and he gets nailed with The Viking Experience for a near fall. The OC interfere and they get cleared out of the ring, Erik gets tossed in the crowd as we go to a commercial break.

We return from the break to see Gallows eating some strikes from Erik, Gallows corners Erik before landing strikes of his own. Anderson tags in and he drops Erik before landing more strikes afterwards, Anderson holds Erik down while applying a chin lock. Erik gets free and he exchanges blows with Anderson before Gallows tags in, Gallows keeps Erik cornered while landing more strikes. Anderson tags in and he reapplies a chin lock to a downed Erik, Erik gets free and he attacks both members of The OC. Ivar tags in and he nails Anderson with a power slam followed by a splash, Anderson fights back and Ivar nails him with a seated senton. Gallows interferes and Ivar nails him with a clothesline, Ivar misses a seated senton as Dawkins and Erik tag in. Dawkins nails Ivar with an exploder suplex before hitting Erik with the pounce, Dawkins then hits Erik with a bulldog before tagging Ford in. Ford nails Erik with a frog splash as Anderson tags in, Anderson clears the ring before getting a near fall on Erik.

Everybody hits the ring and they all take each other out, Anderson attacks Erik before Ivar tags into the match. Erik power bombs Anderson before Ivar lands a top rope splash for a three count.

Winners: The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar), still the Raw Tag Team Champions

- Charly Caruso interviews Samoa Joe, who says everybody wants to know who the mystery partner is. Kevin Owens arrives and he wants to know who the mystery partner is, Joe leaves to show Owens who the partner is with Caruso following them.

- Samoa Joe approaches the locker room door with Kevin Owens and Charly Caruso, Owens peeks in the door and is happy with who is in there.

- Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring, Lynch says it is good to hear the cheers from the crowd. Lynch says she has been wondering what kind of champion she has been over the last few months, Lynch says she has been doubting her wisdom by wanting to face Asuka at WWE Royal Rumble 2020. Lynch says she has had time to reflect on everything throughout the holidays, Lynch wonders if she should avoid Asuka altogether. Lynch airs a video of all the times Asuka bested her in the last year, Asuka interrupts and makes her way to the stage. Asuka says a bunch of things in Japanese while coming to the ring, Lynch quickly drops Asuka before exiting the ring.

- Erick Rowan bumps into Mojo Rawley backstage, Rawley wants to see what is in the cage, Rawley peeks and is freaked out by what is in there.

- Sarah Schreiber interviews Zelina Vega & Andrade, who says something in Spanish about Rey Mysterio. Rey Mysterio comes out of nowhere to attack Andrade and take his mask back, security eventually arrives and breaks it all up.

Erick Rowan vs. KJ Orso

The match begins with Rowan jumping Orso before the bell sounds to toss him out of the ring, Orso fights back and gets in the ring. The bell sounds and Rowan levels Orso with a spin kick, Rowan then hits Orso with an avalanche and Iron Claw for a three count.

Winner: Erick Rowan

After the match, Erick Rowan drags KJ Orso out of the ring to show him whats in the cage and Orso is covered in blood after looking.

- Seth Rollins and AOP are shown backstage. 

AJ Styles vs. Akira Tozawa

The match begins with Tozawa attacking Styles by landing a few strikes, Styles misses a charge in the corner. Styles gets to the ring apron before cracking Tozawa with a few strikes, Styles then hits Tozawa with a Phenomenal Forearm for a near fall. Styles follows up on that by nailing Tozawa with an elevated DDT, Styles then hits Tozawa with an RKO for a three count.

Winner: AJ Styles

- More highlights are shown from the Bobby Lashley/Lana wedding.

- Bobby Lashley and Lana make their way to the ring, the wedding official from last week is in the ring as well. Lana says that she and Lashley are going to be getting married right now, the minister goes through his speech and he officially marries Lana and Lashley. Lashley and Lana kiss before Lana takes the microphone back, Lana says she is feeling sad about how the whole situation played out last week. Lana blames everybody for what went down at the wedding last week, Lana mocks the WWE Universe while showing off her ring. Lashley blames Rusev for ruining their wedding last week, Lashley says that Rusev wasn’t man enough to keep Lana. Rusev appears on the big screen to congratulate them on their big day, Rusev says Lana and Lashley are the most miserable people on the arena. Rusev says he took the honeymoon that was meant for Lana and Lashley, Rusev shows a Lana and Lashley wedding album as a wedding gift to the couple. 

Lashley and Lana get angry at Rusev and they yell at him, Lashley tells Lana to shut up before going off on Rusev. Lashley challenges Rusev to show up next week on Raw, Rusev promises to destroy Lashley next week on Raw.

- Charly Caruso interviews WWE 24/7 Champion R-Truth, who quickly gets interrupted by Liv Morgan. Morgan congratulates R-Truth on breaking the title winning record, Morgan hints that she will be in Rusev’s corner next week on Raw.

- Charlotte Fair vs. Sarah Logan never gets started because Logan jumps Flair from behind before the bell sounds, Logan throws Flair into the ring post and out of the ring. Logan nails Flair with a knee strike, Flair recovers and she throws Logan into the barricade before landing a few strikes. Flair and Logan take their brawl into the crowd, Flair dumps Logan back to the ringside area. Logan fights back and she shoves Flair into the ring post before attacking her with more strikes, Logan gets in the ring and she beats it up before throwing it at Flair. Logan goes back after Flair and Flair nails her with a spear, Flair then throws Logan into the barricade a few times. Logan recovers and she shoves Flair back into the ring post, Flair gets up and she boots Logan in the face. Flair puts her robe on before heading backstage.

- Drew McIntyre is shown backstage.

Drew McIntyre vs. No Way Jose

The match begins with McIntyre attacking members of the conga line, the bell sounds and Jose nails McIntyre with some strikes. McIntyre recovers and he kicks a leaping Jose in the midsection, McIntyre then hits Jose with an overhead release suplex. McIntyre leaves the ring to attack more members of the conga line, McIntyre gets in the ring and Jose attacks him. McIntyre misses a charge in the corner and Jose rolls him up for a near fall, McIntyre responds by nailing Jose with a Future Shock DDT and Claymore Kick for a three count.

Winner: Drew McIntyre

After the match, Drew McIntyre tosses No Way Jose onto the conga line. McIntyre grabs the microphone and he asks who dares him to deliver another Claymore Kick, McIntyre obliges and he nails Jose with another Claymore Kick. McIntyre says that he always hated conga lines, McIntyre says he has yet to have an opportunity to fight for the world tite and he will enter the men’s Royal Rumble Match. 

- Aleister Black is shown backstage.

Aleister Black vs. Shelton Benjamin

The match begins with Benjamin missing a few kick attempts against Black, Black catches Benjamin in a roll up for a near fall. Black takes a seat and Benjamin briefly gets him in a headlock, Black catches Benjamin in an omaplata and Benjamin gets free by suplexing him. Benjamin then cracks Black with a few forearm strikes, Black recovers and he nails Benjamin with a combination that ends with a spinning elbow strike. Benjamin then lands a head kick before eating a knee strike, Black nails Benjamin with Black Mass for a three count.

Winner: Aleister Black

After the match, Buddy Murphy hits the ring and he attacks Aleister Black, Murphy ends the attack by nailing Black with a chair assisted knee strike.

- Seth Rollins and AOP are shown backstage.

- Seth Rollins grabs the microphone before the next match to say that he has been chosen by the WWE Universe to lead Raw to the chosen land, Rollins says that he knows what is best for the WWE Universe. Rollins says people who impede progress need to be eliminated.

Seth Rollins & AOP (Rezar & Akam) vs. Samoa Joe, Kevin Owens & Big Show

The match begins with Akam attacking Show until getting dropped with a shoulder block, Show attacks the opposition before leveling Rollins with a chop as we go to a commercial break. We return from the break to see Joe attacking Rollins with chops, Joe keeps Rollins cornered before landing an overhead kick. Owens tags in and he nails Rollins with a cannonball for a near fall, Rollins fights back and Owens nails him with a back breaker for a near fall. Rezar knocks Owens to the arena floor after a ref distraction from Akam, Rezar tags in and he throws Owens into the barricade. Rezar gets Owens back in the ring while attacking him with strikes, Rezar keeps Owens down while twisting away on his head. Akam tags in and he nails Owens with a splash for a near fall, Akam keeps Owens down while landing more strikes. Rollins tags in and he nails Owens with a springboard knee strike for a near fall, Rollins keeps Owens down while applying a chin lock.

Akam tags back in and he drops Owens with a strike to the midsection, Owens fights back and he cracks Akam with a few strikes. Rezar tags in and Owens nails him with a super kick followed by a palm strike, Show and Rollins are tagged in by their respective partners. Show quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team, AOP attack Joe and throw him into the ring steps. Show catches a leaping Rollins before getting attacked by AOP. Rollins grabs a chair and he attacks Show with it.

Winners: Samoa Joe, Kevin Owens & Big Show, by DQ

After the match, AOP attacks Samoa Joe before Kevin Owens makes the save, Big Show lays out Seth Rollins with a right.
