Brett Lauderdale On Naming GCW Shows: The Real Answer Is A Lot Of Them Are Just Names Of Songs That I Like

- The show starts with a video package highlighting Seth Rollins winning the WWE Universal Championship.

- WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring, Rollins said he didn’t know if he had what it took to beat Brock Lesnar at WWE Summerslam ‘19. Rollins admits that Lesnar is a beast in the squared circle, Rollins credits the WWE Universe for helping him beat Lesnar at WWE Summerslam ‘19. The OC interrupt Rollins and they make their way to the ring, AJ Styles has a microphone and he says that they would like to be the first to congratulate him. Styles says that Rollins now has to worry about him, Styles challenges Rollins tonight to prove who is the better champion. Rollins says that he doesn’t have any respect for Styles anymore, Rollins accepts the challenge from Styles.

- The Street Profits are backstage and they recap what just happened between Seth Rollins and AJ Styles, Sami Zayn arrives and he warns The Street Profits that the WWE Universe will eventually suck the souls out of them. Zayn takes shots at Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch and Samoa Joe and Joe is standing right behind him. Joe says that they can settle their differences in the ring right now, Joe then shoves Zayn down before leaving.

- Highlights are shown of the recent attacks against Roman Reigns.

Samoa Joe vs. Sami Zayn

The match begins with Zayn jumping Joe before the bell sounds, Zayn attacks Joe with a bunch of strikes. Joe recovers and he drops Zayn with a shoulder tackle, Joe follows that up by attacking Zayn with multiple headbutts. Joe gets Zayn in the rear naked choke and he goes out cold.

Winner: Samoa Joe

After the match, Samoa Joe grabs the microphone and says that he does forgive Roman Reigns for what happened between them, but he doesn’t forgive the WWE Universe.

- The Miz is shown walking backstage.

- Dolph Ziggler makes his way to the ring for a match with The Miz while in his street clothes, Ziggler gets a microphone and he blames Miz for what happened with Goldberg at WWE Summerslam ‘19. Ziggler announces that he isn’t medically cleared to compete tonight, Miz turns his back and Ziggler attacks him. Ziggler keeps Miz cornered while attacking him with a bunch of strikes, the match will now take place after the commercial break.

The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler

The match began during the commercial break and we see Miz nail Ziggler with a knee lift to the midsection, Miz then cracks a swinging Ziggler with strikes of his own. Miz corners Ziggler while landing a plethora of strikes, Miz then nails Ziggler with a series of running double knee strikes and a clothesline. Miz then nails Ziggler with a top rope axe handle smash, Miz also attacks a downed Ziggler with It Kicks. Miz looks for a figure four and Ziggler gets free, Ziggler then causes a charging Miz to crash into the ring post. Ziggler then nails Miz with a Zig Zag for a near fall, Ziggler goes for a super kick and Miz nails him with a double knee strike to the leg. Miz applies the figure four to Ziggler and Ziggler eventually taps out.

Winner: The Miz

After the match, Dolph Ziggler grabs the microphone and he insults The Miz, Miz returns to the ring and he nails him with a Skull Crushing Finale.

- Charly Caruso interviews Becky Lynch, Lynch says she didn’t arrive tonight to celebrate, Lynch says she won’t rest until she gets everybody who has previously gotten her.

- Elias is in the ring and he talks about having his performances interrupted by various WWE stars, Elias says whoever wants to interrupt him tonight can do so right away. Nobody initially comes out and Elias starts playing when Ricochet interrupts, Ricochet says people interrupt him because Elias sucks. Elias gets angry and he challenges Ricochet to a match, which is accepted by Ricochet.

Ricochet vs. Elias

The match begins with Ricochet taking Elias down with a head scissors followed by a drop kick, Elias fights back and he nails Ricochet with a ton of strikes. Elias then nails Ricochet with a back body drop for a near fall, Elias holds Ricochet down while applying a headlock. Elias releases the hold before tossing Ricochet in the corner, Ricochet fights back and he nails Elias with a rolling drop kick. Ricochet then nails Elias with a rolling head kick before knocking him out of the ring with an enzaguri, Ricochet goes for a suicide dive and Elias gets out of the way. Elias gets Ricochet back in the ring and he brings his guitar in as well, Elias puts the guitar down and Ricochet nails him with a super kick. Ricochet goes to the top rope and he leaps off for a sunset flip for a three count.

Winner: Ricochet

- Rey Mysterio is shown backstage.

Rey Mysterio vs. Andrade w/Zelina Vega

Fall #1

The fall begins with Andrade immediately dropping Mysterio with a boot to the face, Mysterio recovers and he sends Andrade into the ropes. Vega distracts Mysterio and Andrade rolls him up with his feet on the ropes for a three count.

Fall #1 Winner: Andrade w/Zelina Vega

Fall #2

The fall begins with Mysterio using a head scissors to knock Andrade out of the ring, Mysterio goes to the top rope and Andrade meets him up there after landing a few strikes. Mysterio gets off the ropes to nail Andrade with a few kicks, Mysterio then lands a top rope hurricarana to send himself and Andrade crashing to the arena floor. Mysterio gets Andrade back in the ring before landing a splash for a near fall, Mysterio goes for a moonsault and Andrade blocks it before landing a spinning elbow strike for a near fall. Andrade keeps the pressure on Mysterio while landing a ton of strikes, Andrade goes for a running double knee strike and Mysterio gets out of the way. Mysterio lands a few strikes before nailing Andrade with a Destroyer for a near fall, Mysterio traps Andrade in the ropes before missing a 619. Andrade and Mysterio exchange roll ups for a few near falls, Mysterio traps Andrade in the ropes before landing a 619. Mysterio goes to the top rope and Andrade gets his knees up during the frog splash attempt, Andrade nails Mysterio with a hammerlock DDT for a three count.

Fall #2 Winner: Andrade w/Zelina Vega

- Steve Austin joins the program via Skype, Austin says that Seth Rollins performance at WWE Summerslam ‘19 was top notch. Austin says that he knows exactly who Rollins is now, Austin says that he told Rollins to stay focused when they met backstage at the Raw Reunion.

- Charly Caruso interviews Rey Mysterio, who says he has never lost two falls in a row and he has no idea where his career is going. Mysterio says that he has a family to support before walking away.

- The Street Profits are back and they tell Rey Mysterio to keep his head up, Angelo Dawkins is sleeping and Montez Ford has to wake him up.

- Sarah Schreiber interviews Drew McIntyre, who says the rivalry with Cedric Alexander ends tonight and the fairy tale comes to an end.

Drew McIntyre vs. Cedric Alexander

The match begins with Alexander nailing McIntyre with a drop kick, Alexander then uses a clothesline to knock McIntyre out of the ring. Alexander follows that up by nailing McIntyre with a suicide dive, Alexander gets McIntyre back in the ring before landing a missile drop kick for a near fall. McIntyre propels Alexander to the middle rope and he gets him off before landing a buckle bomb for a near fall, McIntyre traps Alexander in the corner while landing a few strikes. McIntyre holds Alexander down while applying a cobra clutch, Alexander gets free and McIntyre kicks him in the head before landing an overhead release suplex for a near fall. McIntyre holds Alexander down while wrenching away on his arm, Alexander gets free and McIntyre nails him with more strikes. Alexander gets free and he nails McIntyre with a handspring enzaguri, Alexander nails McIntyre with a spinning elbow strike and a knee strike. Alexander then hits McIntyre with a tornado DDT for a near fall, Alexander grabs McIntyre and he gets him on the top rope.

Alexander follows McIntyre up there and McIntyre takes him off with a super side effect for a near fall, McIntyre grabs Alexander and he throws him out of the ring. McIntyre attacks Alexander before Alexander shoves him into the ring post, Alexander nails McIntyre with a Lumbar Check on the arena floor. Alexander gets back in the ring before attempting a suicide dive, McIntyre propels Alexander onto the entrance ramp before getting him in the ring. McIntyre sets up for the Claymore Kick and Alexander collapses to the ground below, Alexander shocks McIntyre with a roll up for a near fall. McIntyre goes to the top rope and Alexander nails him with a one man spanish fly for a near fall, Alexander goes for the Lumbar Check and McIntyre defends. McIntyre goes for the inverted Alabama slam and Alexander rolls through for a near fall, McIntyre nails Alexander with a Claymore Kick for a three count.

Winner: Drew McIntyre

- The OC is shown talking backstage about what happened at WWE Summerslam ‘19, AJ Styles promises to defeat Seth Rollins tonight.

- Paul Heyman is shown walking into Brock Lesnar’s locker room.

No Way Jose vs. Robert Roode

The match begins with Roode backing Jose into the corner while landing a bunch of strikes, Jose fights back and he nails Roode with strikes of his own. Roode recovers and he nails a charging Jose with a spine buster, Roode nails Jose with a Glorious DDT for a three count.

Winner: Robert Roode

- Charly Caruso interviews Paul Heyman, Heyman says that he has an exclusive that Caruso doesn’t have, Heyman says that Brock Lesnar will get no rematches against Seth Rollins. Heyman walks away angry before returning to Lesnar’s locker room.

The Revival (Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder) vs. The Lucha House Party (Lince Dorado & Gran Metalik) w/Kalisto

The match begins with Dorado nailing Wilder with a few holds, Wilder slows Dorado down before tagging Dawson in. Dawson nails Dorado with a back suplex for a near fall, Wilder tags in and Dorado takes out both opponents with a springboard moonsault. R-Truth hits the ring while being chased by a bunch of superstars.

Match Result: No Contest

After the match, The Revival hit R-Truth with a Hart Attack to get a three count and the 24/7 Title. Kalisto hits Dawson with a sliced bread and R-Truth pins him for a three count to win the title, R-Truth is chased backstage by a bunch of competitors. R-Truth returns to the stage and he heads backstage in a different direction, Elias appears and he attacks R-Truth with a guitar shot to pin him and win the title.

- Highlights are again shown of someone’s failed attempts at taking out Roman Reigns.

- Natalya makes her way to the ring with her arm in a sling, Natalya says she tapped out to Becky Lynch at WWE Summerslam ‘19. Natalya says she has a dislocated elbow and will get an MRI done tomorrow, Natalya says she wouldn’t change anything she said about Lynch. Natalya promises to get revenge against Lynch in the future, Natalya says her late father spoke to her last night and said he was proud of her. Natalya says that today marks the one year anniversary of Jim Neidhart’s passing, Sasha Banks interrupts and makes her way to the ring. Banks gives Natalya a hug in the middle of the ring, Banks then drops Natalya before revealing that she was wearing a wig. Banks continues attacking Natalya before ramming her injured arm into the turnbuckle, Banks then hits Natalya with a double knee strike before dumping her out of the ring. Banks then throws the injured Natalya into the ring steps multiple times, Banks gets Natalya in the ring and she gets back in there with a steel chair.

Banks then stomps away on a downed Natalya, Becky Lynch comes to the ring and she goes at it with Banks. Lynch and Banks have a huge brawl in the ring, the brawl between the two spills to the arena floor. Banks rams Lynch into the barricade multiple times, Banks grabs the chair and she attacks Lynch with it. Banks lands more chair shots while WWE Officials reprimand her, Banks then throws Lynch into the ring steps.

The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar) vs. Carter Mason & Sebastian Suave

The match begins with Ivar quickly destroying both opponents, Erik tags in and he drops one opponent on top of another with a uranage. Ivar tags back in and he lands multiple butt drops on the opponents, Erik tags back in and he destroys one opponent with a double knee strike. The Viking Raiders hit the other opponent with the Viking Experience for a three count.

Winners: The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar)

- Charly Caruso interviews Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross, Bliss says that they will be fighting champions going forward, Cross says being champions with Bliss is more than she imagined.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships
Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross (c) vs. The Kabuki Warriors (Kairi Sane & Asuka)

The match begins with Sane and Bliss taunting each other, Sane takes Bliss down with a cross body before double teaming her with Asuka. Asuka and Sane knock their opponents to the arena floor before landing a few dives, Sane gets Bliss back in the ring for a near fall on a pin attempt as we go to a commercial break. We return from the break to see Cross holding Sane in a chin lock, Sane gets free and Cross lands a few knee strikes before applying a straight jacket hold. Sane gets free again and she makes a tag to Asuka, Asuka attacks Cross with a plethora of strikes. Asuka cracks Cross with an elevated knee strike followed by a running head kick, Asuka then nails Cross with a release German suplex. Bliss makes the tag and she nails Asuka with a DDT for a near fall, Cross tags in and Asuka takes both foes out. Sane tags in and she drops Cross with an Alabama slam before going to the top rope, Cross rolls out of the ring and Sane does a dive onto her.

Sane gets Cross back in the ring and she lands an Insane Elbow for a near fall, Asuka goes for a kick on the arena floor and she nails the ring post. Bliss then shoves Asuka into the ring post, Sane gets in the ring and Sane attacks her. Cross nails Sane with a spinning neck breaker, Bliss tags in and she lands Twisted Bliss for a three count.

Winners: Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross, still the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions

- Seth Rollins is shown backstage and he has a few words for AJ Styles.

Seth Rollins vs. AJ Styles w/Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson

The match begins with Rollins backing Styles into the corner while landing shoulder thrusts, Rollins hangs Styles upside down in the corner while kicking away at him. Rollins then nails Styles with a stalling drop kick, Styles fights back and he attacks the injured ribs of Rollins. Rollins recovers and the rest of The OC drag Styles out of the ring, Rollins takes out Anderson and Gallows with dives before getting taken out by Styles as we go to a commercial break. We return from the break to see Styles nail Rollins with a Ushigoroshi for a near fall, Rollins goes to the ring apron and Styles follows him out there. Styles looks for a pile driver and Rollins escapes to knock him to the arena floor, Styles and Rollins beat the count into the ring. Styles attacks Rollins with a combination before getting dropped with a sling blade, Rollins hits Styles with a falcon arrow for a near fall. Rollins places Styles on the top rope and he follows him up there, Styles knocks Rollins off the ropes and Rollins returns to get knocked off again.

Styles goes for a Phenomenal Forearm and Rollins avoids it before landing a super kick, Rollins goes back to the top rope while Anderson distracts the ref. Gallows then shoves Rollins off the top rope before he and Anderson are sent backstage by the ref, Rollins nails Styles with a thrust kick before getting jumped by the rest of The OC.

Winner: Seth Rollins, by DQ

After the match, The OC continue attacking Seth Rollins until Ricochet comes out to assist Rollins. Gallows and Anderson take out Ricochet with a Boot Of Doom, The OC beat up Rollins further and AJ Styles sets up for a super Styles Clash until Braun Strowman comes out to destroy The OC. Strowman drops Styles with multiple running power slams, Strowman grabs the WWE Universal Title and he hands it to Rollins.
