AEW Battle Of The Belts IX (1/13/2024).

  • As a brawl ensued backstage, Tony Schiavone, Kevin Kelly & Nigel McGuiness welcomed the audience to the intense start of the broadcast as the opening contest was underway.
  • AEW World Tag Team Championship - Street Fight: Big Bill & Ricky Starks (c) def. Le Sex Gods (Sammy Guevara & Chris Jericho).
    • The finish came when Big Bill hit a Liger Bomb on Jericho onto a table after Konosuke Takeshita hit Jericho with a kendo stick. Sammy Guevara went for a Swanton off the Lightstand on Ricky Starks, but Powerhouse Hobbs pulled Starks out of the way to send Guevara crashing onto the production pad. Starks rolled over and pinned Guevara for the win & title retention.
  • There was a video package promoting Serena Deeb's return to AEW, where she called herself one of the best wrestlers in the world.
  • AEW TBS Championship Match: Julia Hart (c) def. Anna Jay.
  • Sonjay Dutt & Karen Jarrett tried to moderate Jay Lethal & Jeff Jarrett to ease their tensions, where Dutt told Lethal that he was the only reason Lethal was in AEW. Satnam Singh brought a plate of donut wholes and tried to give one to Lethal, but accidentally put it on Lethal's chin instead.
  • AEW International Championship Match: Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Preston Vance (w/ Jose The Assistant).
    • The Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven, Mike Bennett & Roderick Strong) watched the match from the ringside.
    • After the match, Roderick Strong hit a vicious knee strike on Jose The Assistant before he &The Kingdom tossed Vance & Jose out of the ring. Strong & Cassidy went face-to-face to end the broadcast.
