• After quick promos from Mariah May, Harley Cameron, The Learning Tree (Chris Jericho, Bryan Keith & Big Bill), and Rated FTR (Cope, Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler), Tony Schiavone & Nigel McGuinness welcomed the audience to the broadcast before transitioning into the opening match.
• Cope def. Big Bill (w/ Chris Jericho & Bryan Keith) via Submission (Rear-Naked Choke).
  • The Learning Tree (Chris Jericho, Bryan Keith & Big Bill) attacked Cope after the match, but FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) made the save. Learning Tree and Rated FTR were separated by an army of security guards.
• There was a video package for Kenny Omega ahead of his return match on AEW Maximum Carnage against Brian Cage.
• "Hangman" Adam Page cut a promo backstage, where he said he had been trying to keep his family from the pains of fame but said everything turned in its head in one night, where he could not look his mother and son in the eye. Page said he tried to close the hole by going after Swerve Strickland. Page said he understood what Christopher Daniels tried to tell him but he listened to him for too long and said that Daniels would pay the prize for laying his hands on him. Page challenged Daniels to a Texas Death Match, stating he would rather tear Daniels apart than be the man he was last year and said he would lay him down forever.
• PAC def. Komander (w/ Alex Abrahantes) via Submission (Brutalizer).
  • The Death Riders (PAC, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta) tried to attack Komander after the match, but The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd & Truth Magnum) made the save, leading to the next match.
• The Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta) def. The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd & Truth Magnum) via Pinfall (Rocket Launcher on Floyd).
• There was a video package for Powerhouse Hobbs ahead of his match against Jon Moxley for the AEW World Title at AEW Maximum Carnage.
• Mariah May def. Harley Cameron via Pinfall (May Day).
• Christopher Daniels cut a promo in response to "Hangman" Adam Page, where Daniels explained he had always approached Page as a friend but was tired of being disrespected and was willing to shed Page's blood while beating his ass. Daniels formally accepted the challenge.
• Brody King (w/ Julia Hart) def. Trevor Blackwell via Pinfall (Gonzo Bomb).
  • Lexy Nair interviewed Brody King and Julia Hart but they were interrupted by Cope. Cope put over King, telling him it was time for him to take the realm and run.
• TNT Championship Match: Daniel Garcia (c) def. Katsuyori Shibata via Pinfall (Jack-Knife Pin).
• There was a video package narrated by Renee Paquette previewing the Women's Casino Gaunlet, set for the 1/15 edition of AEW Dynamite Maximum Carnage.
