AEW World Tag Team Championship
FTR (Dash Harwood & Cash Wheeler) (c) w/ Tully Blanchard vs. Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent)
The match begins with Wheeler getting Taylor in a headlock, Taylor gets free and Wheeler nails him with a shoulder tackle. Wheeler works over the arm of Taylor before tagging Harwood in, Harwood works on the arm of Taylor until Taylor gets free to land a series of shoulder tackles. Taylor drops Harwood with an arm drag before tagging Trent in, Trent and Taylor nail Harwood with a double shoulder tackle. Trent keeps Harwood down while working over his arm, Harwood gets Trent in the corner and he lands a few strikes. Trent fights back and he nails Harwood with strikes of his own, Trent goes after Wheeler and Wheeler makes a blind tag a short time later. FTR double team Trent and Wheeler gets a near fall on him, Wheeler traps Trent in the corner while landing some strikes. Harwood tags in and he double teams Trent alongside Wheeler for a near fall, Harwood follows up by nailing Trent with a back elbow strike. Wheeler tags in and he works with Harwood to nail Trent with a double slingshot into the middle rope, Wheeler leaves the ring and he nails Trent with a few strikes. Trent tries fighting back and Wheeler knocks him to the arena floor, Harwood tags in and he briefly battles Trent on the arena floor.
Wheeler tags back in and he holds Trent down while wrenching away on his head, Trent gets free and he cracks Wheeler with a few strikes. Trent then drops a charging Wheeler with a clothesline, Harwood tags in and he knocks Taylor off the ring apron. Harwood gets Trent to the top rope and he follows him up there, Harwood nails Trent with a super back suplex. Wheeler tags in and he gets a near fall on a downed Trent, Wheeler goes to the middle rope and Trent gets his knees up as Wheeler was on the way down, Harwood tags in and Taylor gets the tag a short time later. Taylor quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team, Taylor clears the ring before nailing FTR with a suicide dive. Taylor gets Harwood in the ring before landing a falcon arrow for a near fall, Harwood leaves the ring and Taylor looks for the suplex before Blanchard trips him up. Taylor goes after Blanchard and Harwood attacks him from behind, Wheeler tags in and Taylor rolls him up for a near fall. Trent tags in and he double teams Wheeler with Taylor, Trent then hits Wheeler with a knee strike for a near fall. Harwood interferes and he knocks Taylor off the ring apron, Trent gets Wheeler up and he nails him with a few strikes.
Wheeler fights back and he nails Trent with a short arm clothesline, Harwood tags in and he nails Trent with an assisted power bomb for a near fall. Harwood follows up with a back drop driver on Trent for another near fall, Harwood gets Trent on the top rope and he follows him up there. Trent fights back against both members of FTR and Harwood crotches him, Harwood returns to the top rope and Trent falls on him during a super back suplex attempt for a near fall. Trent and Taylor hit both members of FTR with DDT’s, Harwood recovers and he nails Trent with a DDT for a near fall. Wheeler goes to the top rope and Taylor knocks him to the arena floor, Best Friends then hit Harwood with Strong Zero for a near fall. Taylor and Wheeler take their battle to the arena floor as Wheeler nails Taylor with a brain buster on the arena floor, Trent gets Wheeler over the railing and Wheeler sends him into Kip Sabian’s arcade cabinet. Penelope Ford is sent backstage by Kip Sabian to get Miro, Wheeler gets Trent back into the ring and Trent cannot get back up. FTR goes for Goodnight Express and Taylor breaks it up, Trent hits Harwood with a DDT before tagging Taylor in.
Wheeler tries attacking Taylor with a title belt and Taylor gets him out of the ring, Wheeler nails Taylor with the title belt behind the ref’s back and Harwood gets a three count on him.
Winners: FTR (Dash Harwood & Cash Wheeler) w/ Tully Blanchard, still the AEW World Tag Team Champions
After the match, Miro hits the ring and he attacks Best Friends, Kip Sabian hits the ring and he joins in on the attack.
Miro & Kip Sabian w/Penelope Ford vs. Lee Johnson & Sean Maluta
The match begins with Miro attacking Maluta and knocking him out of the ring, Miro grabs Maluta and he sends him into the barricade a few times. Miro gets Maluta back in the ring before landing a high kick, Miro goes after Johnson and he knocks him to the arena floor. Miro leaves the ring and he throws Johnson into the side of the stage, Sabian tags in and he nails Maluta with a top rope splash. Miro tags in and he gets Maluta in the camel clutch to force a tap out.
Winners: Miro & Kip Sabian w/Penelope Ford
After the match, Kip Sabian gets the microphone and he is angry with Best Friends for destroying his arcade cabinet. Miro gets the microphone and he tells Best Friends that it’s game over.
- Cameras are backstage and they show Lance Archer beating up AEW World Champion Jon Moxley.
- MJF makes his way to the ring with Wardlow at his side, MJF says everybody who is booing him is just envious of him. MJF says he is here to stay on top, MJF brings out Chris Jericho and The Inner Circle to hear his upcoming groundbreaking announcement. MJF points out that he finally got Sammy Guevara his jacket and it is way too big for him, MJF talks about how great Jericho is looking. MJF calls Jericho the Demo God why he is the Ratings Ruler, MJF says there mutual prey has been adapting to them and MJF says he wants to work with Jericho. MJF eventually says he wants to join The Inner Circle, Ortiz grabs MJF’s microphone and he says The Inner Circle doesn’t want him in there. Jericho says The Inner Circle will need time to make a decision, Jericho says he wants to have a steak dinner with MJF and MJF agrees.
- A video airs showing Tony Schiavone at the spa with Dr. Britt Baker, Baker says her comeback is being written in the record books as we speak. Baker says Rule #5 is to be the “baddest bitch on the block,” Baker freaks out because Schiavone is naked at the spa. Baker and the spa people wax Schiavone’s upper body, Baker says the entire women’s division has been put on notice.
AEW TNT Championship
Cody (c) w/Brandi Rhodes & Arn Anderson vs. Orange Cassidy
The match begins with Cassidy standing in the middle of the ring as Cody dances around him, Cassidy puts his hands in his pockets after faking a lock up with Cody. Cody shoves Cassidy and his glasses fall off, Cody locks up with Cassidy and Cassidy gets him in the corner. Cody scores a takedown on Cassidy and Cassidy gets back up, Cassidy gets his hands in his pockets before kicking Cody away. Cody then gets Cassidy down with a headlock, Cassidy gets free and he drops Cody with an arm drag before rolling him up for a near fall. Cassidy gets Cody down again before rolling him up again for another near fall, Cody recovers and he nails Cassidy with a front suplex. Cody follows up by dropping Cassidy with a hard Irish whip into the corner, Cassidy fights back and he knocks Cody into the middle turnbuckle. Cassidy then hits Cody with a top rope high cross body, Cody recovers and he nails Cassidy with a suplex. Cody keeps Cassidy down while trapping both of his arms, Cody releases the hold and he hip tosses Cassidy out of the ring. Cody goes after Cassidy and he nails him with a few strikes, Cody gets Cassidy in the ring before landing a top rope axe handle smash.
Cody keeps Cassidy down while wrenching away on his arm, Cody goes to the top rope and Cassidy avoids his leap before landing his super slow strikes on him. Cody gets angry and Cassidy nails him with a super kick, Cody falls out of the ring and Cassidy nails him with a suicide dive. John Silver appears and he grabs the AEW TNT Title belt before Cassidy takes it from him, Cassidy hands the belt back to Anderson before getting Cody back in the ring. Cody rolls through a top rope high cross body from Cassidy before getting rolled up for a near fall, Cody goes for a suplex and Cassidy counters with a stunner. Cody recovers and he drops Cassidy with a Cody Cutter, Cody and Cassidy have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Cody ends the exchange by nailing Cassidy with a drop kick to his legs, Cody leaves the ring and he drags Cassidy to the ring post before smashing his legs on it. Cody goes for the figure four and Cassidy shoves him away, Cody then hits Cassidy with a disaster kick for a near fall. Cody keeps Cassidy down while getting him in a single leg crab, Cody releases the hold and Cassidy rolls him up for a near fall.
Cody recovers and he quickly drops Cassidy with a clothesline for a near fall, Cody gets Cassidy trapped with double underhooks and Cassidy gets free. Cody then grabs Cassidy and he gets him on the top rope before attacking his injured leg, Cody climbs the ropes and he nails Cassidy with a super reverse suplex for a near fall. Cody leaves the ring again and he drags Cassidy to the ring post, Cassidy fights back and he sends Cody into the turnbuckle. Cassidy climbs the ropes and he nails Cody with a diving DDT for a near fall, Cassidy’s knee gives out on him and he still hits Cody with a Michinoku Driver for a near fall. Cassidy goes for Beach Breaker and Cody avoids it before getting him in a figure four leg lock, Cassidy reverses the hold and Cody does the same to him. Cassidy eventually gets to the ropes to break the submission attempt, Cassidy recovers and he nails Cody with a Beach Break on the ring apron. Cassidy gets Cody in the ring and he gets a near fall on a pin attempt, Cody gets up and he avoids an Orange Punch attempt. Cody goes for Cross Rhodes and Cassidy counters with a tornado DDT and Beach Breaker for a near fall, Cassidy catches Cody in a roll up as the time limit expires.
Match Result: Time Limit Draw, Cody retains the title
- Alex Marvez interviews Jake Roberts & Lance Archer, Jon Moxley interrupts and he attacks Archer.
- Tony Schiavone is with Matt Hardy and his family, Hardy says they are enjoying the AEW Dynamite 1 Year Anniversary Show. Hardy says he is healthy and cleared to return to the ring, a video airs on the big screen and it shows somebody lighting a bunch of Hardy pictures on fire. The person is revealed to be Sammy Guevara, Guevara says he was the one to attack Hardy and he will continue attacking Hardy until Hardy is sent home for good. Hardy says he is back and he'll deal with Guevara.
- A bunch of tag teams are on stage while FTR and Tully Blanchard are in the ring, Tony Schiavone announces via a drawing that it will be Private Party vs. John Silver & Alex Reynolds vs. The Butcher & The Blade vs. The Young Bucks next week and the winners will challenge for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at AEW Full Gear. The Bucks and FTR have a tense meeting before Matt Jackson steals the microphone from Schiavone, The Bucks attacks two of the teams and a brawl breaks out between everybody.
AEW Women’s World Championship
Hikaru Shida (c) vs. Big Swole
The match begins with Swole and Shida exchanging headlock attempts, Shida trips up Swole before getting her in a front headlock. Swole gets up and she wrenches away on the arm of Shida, Shida gets free and she drops Swole with a shoulder tackle. Swole goes for a headlock and Shida gets free before getting put in a chin lock, Swole and Shida exchange a few roll up attempts for a few near falls. Swole and Shida also exchange some arm drags, Swole and Shida both go down after they exchange shoulder tackles. Shida traps Swole in the ropes before nailing her with a kick, Shida leaves the ring and she nails a downed Swole with a knee strike. Swole gets up and she shoves Shida into the camera man, Shida recovers and she drops Swole on the top of the barricade before setting up a steel chair. Shida leaps off the chair and she nails Swole with a knee strike, Shida follows up by nailing Swole with a suplex on the arena floor. Shida waits for Swole to get back in the ring and she nails her with a suplex for a near fall, Swole fights back and Shida nails her with a Samoan drop for a near fall.
Shida keeps Swole down while briefly applying a camel clutch to her, Swole gets free and she cracks Shida with a headbutt. Shida gets Swole to the ring apron before climbing the ropes, Swole gets free and she knocks Shida to the entrance stage. Swole nails Shida with a high kick and a springboard cutter on the entrance ramp, Swole gets Shida in the ring before landing another springboard cutter for a near fall. Swole goes for a discus elbow and Shida counters with a knee strike, Shida then hits Swole with a straight jacket suplex for a near fall. Shida then hits Swole with a knee strike and falcon arrow for another near fall, Swole recovers and she hits Shida with Dirty Dancing for a near fall. Shida avoids a second Dirty Danciing to hit Swole with a pair of knee strikes for a three count.
Winner: Hikaru Shida, still the AEW World Women’s Champion
- Eddie Kingston and The Lucha Bros make their way to the announce table.
- A video package airs highlighting the feud between Scorpio Sky and Shawn Spears.
AEW World Championship
No DQ Match
Jon Moxley (c) vs. Lance Archer w/Jake Roberts
The match begins with Moxley nailing Archer with a Paradigm Shift for a near fall, Archer gets up before knocking himself and Moxley out of the ring. Archer attacks Moxley and he nails him with several strikes before sending him into the barricade, Archer gets Moxley back in the ring and Moxley knocks him back to the arena floor. Moxley follows up by nailing Archer with a suicide dive, Moxley sends Archer into multiple barricades as they battle around the ring. Archer drops Moxley with a few strikes while ripping away at his face, Archer gets Moxley in the ring and Moxley nails him with a clothesline. Archer recovers and he knocks Moxley out of the ring with a pounce, Archer then hits Moxley with a cannonball from the ring apron. Archer finds a table and he sets it up on the arena floor, Archer grabs another table and he sets it up next to the first one. Moxley gets back in the ring and Archer follows him in there before kicking him in the face, Archer traps Moxley in the corner before getting him on the top rope. Archer goes for Blackout and Moxley escapes before eating a boot to the face, Archer gets Moxley to the ring apron and he looks for a choke slam.
Moxley fights back and he clotheslines Archer back into the ring, Moxley climbs to the top rope and Archer catches him as he leaps off. Moxley and Archer have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Moxley ends the exchange by nailing Archer with a release German suplex. Moxley follows up by dropping Archer with a clothesline, Moxley leaves the ring and he throws a few steel chairs into it. Moxley gets back in the ring and he attacks Archer with a steel chair, Moxley sets up a few chairs in the ring and Archer choke slams him through the chairs for a near fall. Archer grabs a chair and Moxley trips him up while looking for a knee bar, Archer drags himself out of the ring to break the submission. Moxley goes for a suicide dive and Archer nails him with a trash can, Archer gets in the ring and he attacks Moxley with the trash can. Archer gets Moxley to the ring apron and Moxley nails him with a low blow, Moxley nails Archer with a Paradigm Shift through the tables on the arena floor. Moxley gets back in the ring and Archer follows suit a short time later, Moxley hits Archer with another Paradigm Shift for a near fall. Moxley gets Archer in a bulldog choke and Archer gets free, Archer then nails Moxley with a DDT from out of nowhere.
Archer gets Moxley on the top rope and he nails him with Blackout for a near fall, Moxley catches Archer in a roll up for a three count.
Winner: Jon Moxley, still the AEW World Champion
After the match, Lance Archer attacks Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston has the Lucha Bros help Moxley. Archer heads backstage and Eddie Kingston shows Moxley some respect on the microphone, Kingston turns on Moxley and he nails him with a spinning back fist. Kingston gets Moxley in a rear naked choke and The Lucha Bros hold everybody at bay.
