AEW Dynamite (6/5/24) Results

- Maxwell Jacob Friedman kicks off the show and he's talking about his return. He talks about how people started to smear his name after they all claimed to enjoy him and his work. RUSH interrupts and the two go back and forth verbally before they have a physical confrontation where they have to be separated.

* 4-Way To Determine AEW International Championship #1 Contender: Rey Fenix def. Orange Cassidy, Jay Lethal, and Kyle O'Reilly.

- After the match, Trent Beretta is in the ring with a chair to attack Cassidy. Cassidy gets a chain and wants to fight. Kris Statlander comes in and tries to stop Cassidy by asking him nicely, but she hits him instead. Willow Nightingale comes down to chase her off.

- Backstage, Willow talks to Renee Paquette about wanting to get revenge on Statlander and get even with Mercedes Mone.

* AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2024 TNT Ladder Match Qualifier: Mark Briscoe def. Brian Cage

- Jack Perry, who was watching the match then cut a promo about how he's going to be the next TNT Champion.

- Samoa Joe and HOOK are talking with Renee Paquette, they're interrupted by the Premier Athletes. Tony Nese, Ari Daivari, and Mark Sterling swipe HOOK's Funyuns out of his hand and a physical confrontation nearly starts.

- Chris Jericho, Big Bill, and Bryan Keith running to Daddy Magic and Angelo Parker. Jericho remarks on how much better their lives are now that they've had the rub of being in the Jericho vortex.

- The Acclaimed come out for a match but that's quickly shut off by Matthew and Nicholas Jackson Who decide that their segment is cut because they disrespected them last week.

- Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana speak with Renee Paquette. Swerve has a manila envelope for Will Ospreay and he gives it to Nana to send to him.

* Blackpool Combat Club (Wheeler Yuta, Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli, & Jon Moxley) def. Volador Jr, Magnus, Rugido, & Esfinge

- The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn confront The Young Bucks over what transpired earlier tonight. Immediately after this, a commercial break occurred and then back from the break, Christian Cage goes to see Matthew and Nicholas Jackson. He wants them to get him another chance at the World Championship. They say they'll see what they can do but they want to make sure that Christian and his Patriarchy continue to do their bidding as well.

* Saraya def. Mariah May.

- Saraya and Harley Cameron attack Mariah and Toni Storm. Mina Shirakawa makes the save and there's a bit of tension between her and Storm until Mariah comes in and caresses them both in her bosom

- Chris Jericho, Big Bill, and Bryan Keith encounter Private Party and offer them "advice" before inviting them to appear on "TV Time With The Learning Tree Chris Jericho" next week.

- Bryan Danielson declares that he will be in the Owen Hart tournament and wants to challenge for the AEW World Championship and Wembley Stadium
