Report: Miami Dolphins Cornerback Trill Williams Signs With WWE, Appears On WWE NXT

- AEW Commentator Excalibur kicks off the show saying, "It's Friday Night, and you know what that means." Excalibur welcomes the viewer to Bridgeport, Connecticut, for AEW Rampage. In addition, Excalibur includes his colleagues Taz, Ricky Starks, and Chris Jericho.

TNT Championship Match
Andrade El Idolo vs. Sammy Guevara (C)

The match begins with Sammy Guevara and Andrade El Idolo, beginning things countering each other holds and Andrade's showboat. Then, Andrade goes to shake Sammy's hand, and Sammy flips him the bird.

Sammy hits Andrade with a Spanish Fly; Sammy then tosses Andrade over the top rope. Sammy is on the top rope, and he goes for a springboard; however, Andrade pushes him off the ropes, and Sammy flies into the barricade at ringside. So we go to our first picture-in-picture commercial break with Andrade in control.

Sammy recovers and hits Andrade with a rising knee strike, Andrade is outside the ring, and Sammy hits Andrade with a tornillo. Andrade recovers and hits Sammy with a DDT on the apron outside the ropes.

Sammy hits Andrade with another Spanish Fly from the top rope; it takes Sammy a few seconds to get to Andrade for the pin; however, Andrade kicks out at two. Sammy and Andrade are on their knees, and both begin hitting each other with strikes. The referee starts counting with both men down, Andrade is up first, and he removes the top turnbuckle pad. However, the referee is distracted, allowing Matt Hardy to remove another turnbuckle.

Sammy and Andrade are on the top turnbuckle, Andrade will attempt to go for the Hammerlock DDT, but Sammy counters and takes Andrade's leg out, and Andrade hits the exposed turnbuckle face first. Sammy Guevara hits Andrade with the stunner; Sammy pins Andrade and gets the victory.

After the match, Matt Hardy attacks Sammy, but Darby Allin and Sting save Sammy Guevara. Then, Allin takes out Hardy and Andrade. Sting takes Marq Quen; Darby then hits Marq Quen with the Coffin Drop.

Winner: Sammy Guevara

- QT Marshall comes out calling out HOOK; Marshall tells Taz that he made HOOK the wrestler he is. Marshall calls out HOOK.

HOOK makes his way out, and It is a trap as Marshall sends security guards to attack HOOK. However, HOOK takes care of all of them with ease.

- Scorpio Sky, Ethan Page, and Dan Lambert cut a promo, taking shots at Tony Khan. Sky wants a title shot, and Lambert is doing what he can.

Wardlow ( w/ Shawn Spears) vs. Nick Comoroto ( w/ Aaron Solo)

Nick Comoroto takes Wardlow down with a gut wrench; however, Wardlow is up quickly and hits Comoroto with a suplex. Now, Wardlow sends Comoroto over the top rope. We go to another picture-in-picture commercial break.

We return from the break, Comoroto attempts to hit Wardlow with a one-handed slam. Instead, Wardlow comes back and chokeslam's Comoroto. Comoroto then hits Nick Comoroto with the Powerbomb Symphony. Finally, Wardlow hits Comoroto with four Powerbomb's.

After the match, Aaron Solo dives at Wardlow, and Shawn Spears hits him with a chair, angering Wardlow because Spears almost hit him. Finally, Shawn Spears tells Wardlow to stop with the Powerbomb Symphony because it's not going over. Wardlow smirks and shakes his head.

Winner: Wardlow ( w/ Shawn Spears)

Professor's 5-Minute Rookie Challenge
Serena Deeb vs. Kayla Sparks

The match begins with Serena Deeb taking down Kayla Sparks with a clothesline. After that, Deeb punishes Sparks with multiple uppercuts. Deeb then clobbers Sparks with another punch, then Deeb hits Sparks with a shot to the kidneys.

Deeb has Sparks on the turnbuckle and begins stretching Sparks out in the corner. Sparks gets a few shots in, but they do nothing to her. Deeb takes Sparks down quickly, and then she puts the Serenity Lock on Sparks to get the victory.

Winner: Serena Deeb

- Tony Schiavone is in the ring with Thunder Rosa and Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. Contract signing for their upcoming match at AEW Revolution. Rosa insults Baker and Baker talks about the Lights Out match, and Baker says that Rosa won, but who won? I am the one who got the T-Shirt and the Action Figure. Baker tells Rosa that she will never be the star and while Baker was in "AEW from the start, while you were wrestling on Youtube, fighting for a chance."

Baker signs the paper, and Rosa jumps over the table and attacks Baker. Jamie Hayter begins punching and striking Thunder Rosa. Mercedes Martinez comes out and helps Rosa; Rosa hits Hayter and Martinez sends Hayter through the table.

- Mark Henry interviews Orange Cassidy and Anthony Bowens, they go back and forth with The Acclaimed insult Orange Cassidy, but he tells them that he stopped listening hours ago.

The Face of the Revolution Ladder Match Qualifier
Orange Cassidy ( w/ Wheeler Yuta) vs. Anthony Bowens ( w/ Max Caster)

Before the match, Max Caster tells Orange Cassidy to rap, and he says "yo, yo" and then begins kicking Max Caster. Cassidy then says "word to your mother" after sending Caster out of the ring.

The bell rings, and Orange Cassidy hits Anthony Bowens with a tope suicida. Bowens recovers quickly and begins beating down Cassidy and controlling the match. We go to our last commercial break of the evening with Bowens in control.

We return from the break, and Bowens is still in control; Bowens hits Cassidy with multiple chops. Bowens throws Cassidy into the turnbuckle a couple of times. Cassidy gives Bowens a "thumbs up," and now Cassidy takes control of the match for a few seconds. Cassidy counters Bowens suplex into a Stundog Millionaire.

Cassidy hits Bowens with a Michinoku Driver; Caster distracts Cassidy, allowing Bowens to punch Cassidy in a heavy punch.

Cassidy hits Bowens with a Diving DDT, Cassidy hits Bowens with another DDT for good measure. The boombox is in the ring, Cassidy gets distracted again after chasing Caster.

Bowens sends Cassidy outside the ring; Caster will attempt to hit Cassidy with his chain; however, Danhausen appears ad stops him, allowing Orange Cassidy to hit Caster with the Orange Punch.

Cassidy enters the ring and ducks a clothesline attempt from Bowens, and then he hits Bowens with an Orange Punch. Cassidy then pins Bowens to victory and advances to the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match at AEW Revolution.

Winner: Orange Cassidy ( w/ Wheeler Yuta)
