The show begins and our commentary team of Excalibur, Taz, Ricky Starks and William Regal welcome us to tonight's show and it's time for our opening contest of the evening.

Bryan Danielson vs. Trent

A grappling exchange to start, Danielson with a head-lock, Trent comes back with a suplex. Danielson lands some chops to the chest, Trent slides out of a suplex attempt and tosses Danielson to the outside. Danielson lights Trent up with some kicks, slides back in the ring and dives onto Trent on the outside but Trent catches him and plants Danielson with a suplex. Trent misses Danielson with a shoulder block and goes crashing into the steel steps before we head to a commercial break. Back from the break and both competitors are trading strikes in the center of the ring. Trent with a German suplex, then an elbow in the corner but Danielson comes back with a forearm and a suplex before going for the cover but Trent lifts the shoulders at two. Danielson lines Trent up for a pile-driver, Trent rolls out and they trade roll up attempts but nothing sticks.

Danielson goes for a Gotch-style piledriver. That leads to a series of near falls. Both go up top, they trade strikes, Danielson looks for a back super-plex but Trent reverses into a cross-body and goes for the cover but Danielson kicks out at two-and-a-half! Trent springboards himself, Danielson connects with a flying knee then a Gotch pile-driver before locking in a reverse cravat and Trent taps!

Winner - Bryan Danielson

We then cut backstage and Lexy Nair is with HOOK. Lexy asks a few questions but HOOK doesn't respond then gets up to exit but Danhausen comes in and tries to curse him. HOOK shakes his head and walks away as we head to a commercial break.

Back from the break and TNT Champion Scorpio Sky, Ethan Page and Dan Lambert make their way down to the ring. Sky says he needs someone to step up for once and come challenge him. Sammy Guevara and Tay Conti interrupt and Sammy says the TNT Title means nothing now that Sky has it. Lambert tells Sammy that he and Tay need to talk more about what they do in the ring rather then about what they do in the bedroom. Ethan says Sammy and Tay are a PR disaster waiting to happen for AEW and prays that his kid doesn't ever end up like Tay. Sammy says 'I don't give a shit' in reference to Ethan's kid and says he and Tay will interrupt everything Sky and Page do until he [Sammy] gets a title rematch. We then cut backstage where Chris Jericho presents QT Marshall with his 'Sports Entertainer of The Week' award. We head back to the ring and it's time for our next matchup.

Swerve Strickland vs. QT Marshall

Swerve rolls QT up, QT kicks out and they trade roll up attempts, nothing ends the match and QT tosses Swerve to the outside but Swerve lands on his feet and we head to a commercial break. Back from the break and Swerve drills QT with some forearms, goes to the middle rope then lands an diving uppercut. QT trips Swerve up and lines him up for the Diamond Cutter but Swerve slides out, hits a flat-liner and drills QT with a step-up kick to the back of the head for the 1-2-3 and the win!

Willow Nightingale vs. Red Velvet — Owen Hart Cup Qualifying Match

Willow locks-up a head-lock, Red slides out and drills her with a super-kick. Willow tosses Red around the ring, then nails her with a shoulder tackle and then a cover but Red lifts the shoulders after a count of two. Willow plants Red with a slam, goes for a splash but Red slides out and trips Willow to the corner before delivering a bevy or strikes. Willow cartwheels out of the corner and hits a senton on Red before going for the cover but Red kicks out. Willow goes up top and looks for a moonsault but Red slides out and tosses Willow into the ropes and drills her with a knee Red hits Just Desserts on Willow and goes for the cover but Willow kicks out at two-and-a-half! Willow plants Red with a spine-buster before going for the cover but Red kicks out! Willow follows up with a cannonball onto a cornered Red and goes for the cover but Red, yet again kicks out! Willow lines Red up for a suplex but Red slides out, hits a back-stabbed and then a corkscrew kick for the win!

Winner - Red Velvet

We then hear from Mark Henry and the two men involved our main event of the evening in Jon Moxley and Wheeler Yuta before we head to a commercial break ahead of the match.

Jon Moxley vs. Wheeler Yuta

Yuta attacks Moxley while the latter’s making his entrance. Yuta launches Moxley into the steel steps and the brawl ensues. Moxley eventually gets Yuta in the ring and plants him with a German suplex as the bell rings and this one is officially underway. Moxley with a suplex, Yuta with some chops, Moxley drills Yuta with a big boot before going for the cover but Yuta quickly kicks out after a one-count. Moxley dumps Yuta to the outside and then shoves him into the steel steps, which busts Yuta open pretty badly as we head to a commercial break. Back from the break and Moxley’s working over Yuta in the center of the ring. Moxley applies a Boston crab, Yuta rolls out and kicks Moxley to the outside. Yuta goes up top and dives onto Moxley which sends the latter into the times-keeper’s area. Both competitors struggle to get back into the ring but they both beat the referee’s 10-count. Yuta rolls up Moxley but the former AEW World Champion kicks out. Yuta plants Moxley with a German suplex, then a second before going for a third but Moxley slides out and drills Yuta with a lariat. Yuta trips Moxley, goes up top and lands a splash before going for the cover but Moxley lifts the shoulders at two. Yuta locks-in a cross-face, Moxley slides out and clocks Yuta with another lariat but Yuta trips him up and lands Bryan Danielson’s patented stomps to the chest. Yuta spring-boards but walks into a Paradigm Shift, Moxley goes for the cover but Yuta kicks out! Moxley locks-in a bulldog choke and drills Yuta with some knees at the same time. Moxley lifts Yuta and goes for a big boot but Yuta trips Moxley and applied a bulldog choke of his own. Moxley powers out and drills Yuta with some elbows, then a running knee then another Paradigm Shift but Yuta somehow kicks out at two-and-a-half! Moxley’s pissed but applies a rear-naked choke and Yuta goes to sleep!

Winner - Jon Moxley

After the match, William Regal and Bryan Danielson make their way down to the ring. Yuta struggles to stand up, but does and Regal offers a handshake, Yuta accepts and all four men stand in the ring as the show goes off-the-air.
